Rumour File
Hogan's going nowhere. The club said Hunt is going nowhere. Be happy we have both of them. A year is a long time in football Hogan may change his mind about going back to WA. Unfortunately we can't get May but considering the interest we had in him this year hopefully we have a big chance in getting him next year.

Fantastic year off half back, great user of the ball.

2018 Player Reviews: # 2 Nathan Jones
Another good year by the heart and soul of the club, would like to see him take over Lewis's role.

2018 Player Reviews: # 4 James Harmes
Fastastic year, really hit his straps when he started tagging at the end of the year.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Unfortunately we can't get May hopefully next year?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Congrats on Hogan staying a demon let's hope he can repay us and have a fantastic year.

Would we take $cully back?
No from me he's a dog. I'd prefer Kolodjashnij.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Good luck Pruess looking forward to seeing what you can produce in tandem with Gawn.

2018 Player Reviews: #7 Jack Viney
He just needs an injury free run and he will star for the Dees.
-
2018 Player Reviews: #5 Christian Petracca
A real enigma when he's hot he's hot when he's not he's not. Needs to get fitter and move into the midfield if he wants to get better.
-
2018 Player Reviews: # 6 Jordan Lewis
Had a reasonable year without starring, age is catching up with him and he will struggle to stay in the side if the West Coast game is anything to go by.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
According to the AFL site there just waiting on the Neale deal and then the Hogan and May deal will get done.
-
Farewell Dean Kent
65 is unders. He's a better player than Rohan but what can you do? It should be a future 3rd round pick.

2019 Forward options if JH out and SM in?
Frost said himself he's not suited to it. It's already been tried to limited success. We will draft Max King with pick 6 and trade pick 11 for May.

2018 Player Reviews: #8 Jake Lever
Started shaky but then really hit his stride after a month unfortunately done his knee at the half way point of the season and wasn't seen again. He's an important part of our team for 2019.

2018 Player Reviews: #9 Charlie Spargo
Was our lucky charm there for a while we couldn't lose a game without him. Big season required of him to be part of that midfield depth.

2018 Player Reviews: # 10 Angus Brayshaw
Slow start to the year starting in the VFL but once they put him in the centre square did he blossom finishing 3rd in the Brownlow. Bigger things are expected of him next year.
-
2018 Player Reviews: # 11 Max Gawn
Best player in the comp ATM hopefully he can take it to a whole different level with big Pruess on board.
-
2018 Player Reviews: # 13 Clayton Oliver
2 fantastic seasons in a row now will only get better when his shoulders are sorted out.
-
2018 Player Reviews: # 12 Dom Tyson
Got moved out of the midfield by a bunch of young guns, now looking for a trade which will probably be North.

Aaron vandenBerg not going - signs a new deal!!!
Great to see him stay, I thought he was off when they started to talk about his family. You beauty Go Dees!

2018 Player Reviews: # 18 Jake Melksham
Really found his niche as a forward pocket, great year really proved himself as a good footballer when people had their doubts.
-
2018 Player Reviews: # 19 Mitch Hannan
An enigma but when he's on he's terrific. Great goal against Geelong and great game against the Eagles. An injured stopped us from seeing the best of Hannan.
-
2018 Player Reviews: # 17 Sam Frost
Really out of favour for the first half of the year but when he got his chance he made every post a winner. Unfortunately he looks to be on the outer again considering we are looking at May.

2018 Player Reviews: # 16 Dean Kent
Injuries cruelled him again he can never get a clear run at it. Now he's off to St.Kilda.
