I think that we have a lot of good tall marking players in the team now. Injuries have decimated our midfield and we clearly need to bring more players through there. I have been hearing that we need more players in the 25-28yr bracket, but as our players get a year or two older this will be bridged. There is no one player that we can get to answer all of our needs. The group playing and learning together with a clean bill of health is our best chance. What concerns me is the gameplan. What are we trying to do? Can we give up manning grass? We need to have a whole squad approach to selection and management It should be about the team winning not the individual.

Hi Boys thanks for the podcast. Is it really a simple game? No team has a team of elites. Are versatility and pace where we should be heading in 2025? Multiskilled talls and faster running players What should be the game plan if contest and defence is too hard?

It would take around 8 years for promising mids to reach their peak It is difficult to recruit AA mids unless one is going out of your team Im bullish that we have enough role players to develop whilst Clarry, Tracc and Vines are in there A good group of talls that have versatility of skills How to support Max is a major concern as well as a mature tall forward What is the gameplan that we need to be adhering to?
