  1. 100% agree. Absolute joke. Collins was concussed FFS!
  2. I will be annoyed if we don't contest this on the grounds it wasn't high contact as it was a hit to the body. Though knowing us we will just roll over as always.
  3. I disagree. He made contact with his chest. Not saying I like the act and would prefer he didn't do it, but he definitely didn't get him in the head otherwise Smith would've been out cold and he would be looking at 4-5 weeks.
  4. Everyone in our area were clapping?
  5. This is the post. Taking 'optics' out of it and whether you think the act was poor or not, they have to look at the bump objectively. It is either a fine or a week suspension, anything more you argue that the MRP have based a decision outside of the guidelines available to them.
  6. By the end of your quest you won't know if it's Maysie or not
  7. The games I saw I felt he butchered the ball a lot.
  8. Plus he fails to mention that the largest crowd for a Tigers v Carlton opener was 90k in 2018. So if we just assume there was 50% of each supporter group, that's 45k each. So if Melbourne have 40-45k supporters there it is roughly in line with those two sides..... so what is he on about.
  9. I'm not disputing that. Just more the fact that media were saying similar stuff last year re the crowd but failed to acknowledge that there were barely any Dogs fans there. So we essentially had 90% of our membership base at the game, so not sure what more they expect.
  10. At the same game last year I reckon it was 90% Dees fans, the doggies fans did not turn up.
  11. I expect the club to say 'we expect May to be fit for Saturday night', only to make a late withdrawal an hour before the game
  12. I'd say if May doesn't get up they will go Turner as the replacement. Petty will take May's role and Turner will play in Petty's role. Gawn to play more behind the ball as opposed to forward.
  13. Also could have all the hallmarks of Angus Brayshaw 2.0 and holding out only to re-sign.... Most of these journos have no idea
  14. I'll be heading to the Gabba for the very first time, so would love the score line to be the same. I doubt it though but I'll take any win!
  15. FYI this is regarding Rivers. I have no intel on Pickett.
  16. I've been told that as long as he gets the money he's happy with he will be staying. I'd say his deal will be done early on in the season.
  17. 100% agree. I think you create the 'Eastern Football League', which is essentially just the reserves teams for each of the afl teams. Start the season at the same time and have it run almost identical in length etc to the AFL. It's a shamozzle atm and some players have multiple byes and unable to stake their claim for a spot.
  18. Let me ask you this, were you at either of the Sydney or Brisbane finals? If not, then I can confirm you are not the reason
  19. I was disappointed that Jackson left, but devastated is the word I would use if Kozzy left. He is such a special player and brings so much joy watching him play.
  20. Wow, what a rollercoaster ride this is
  21. Finger crossed it isn't too serious and only a 1-2 game type thing. In any case, this could give Jordon a good opportunity in the midfield.
  22. One thing is for sure, this thread may spiral out of control this year....
  23. It is a pretty weird thing to say though. There is a lot more examples of players who stay at their original clubs and achieve just as much or more than those who leave.
  24. More reason for Kozzie and his manager to get it sorted sooner so he doesn't have to be put through this BS....
  25. A few people started to talk about it during the trade period, but I think that was off the back of Cornes comments.
