  1. This is going to be a really hard selection if there are no injured/sore players. Goody mentioned Brown just had back tightness, but if there is any doubt I'd rather we give him a week rest given the long flight to Perth and the fact the Eagles will be cooked. If that is the case do we stick with the smaller backline and leave Petty and JVR forward? Personally I'd prefer we go back to our usual 3 key backs, as that is usually what we go with and we need to get the cohesion going with those 3 again given May is finally back. If we do this then maybe TMac will come in for Brown and then I'd bring Pickett in for Hibberd. Someone will be unlucky, but this is just what happens in a strong side.
  2. I guess we should setup another academy over there as well to help these poor West Aussie juniors dodge being selected by Freo or the Eagles
  3. Could not believe that 'tripping' free to Rowbottom. It was holding the ball!
  4. Yeah I think it was just to go with a smaller forward line. They need to get the ball to ground in the forward line and not let the Mcartins mark I have covid and watching from home unfortunately..... so have to listen to BT and also scare everyone in my house
  5. Not sure Petty forward is working. Our key talls look a bit lost and we usually play the 3 key backs.
  6. Sheldrick has dropped the ball 5-6 times and never pinged
  7. Jefferson takes a contested mark in the centre square, goes quick and hits McDonald
  8. Casey defence is fantastic.
  9. Great mark by Howes. Outstanding game.
  10. How was that not a 50m penalty? haha ridiculous
  11. McDonald and Tomlinson have been very dominant. Petty would want to play well, otherwise I could see him potentialy losing his spot
  12. The stream is down.... but apparently Jefferson kicked a goal. Shame to miss it
  13. McDonald much too good for VFL level
  14. Great bodywork and kick in board by Sestan sets up a goal
  15. One of the worst holding the ball calls against Dunstan I've ever seen
  16. Agreed. He's a great bloke to have down at Casey to help develop our younger players.
  17. Jefferson gets a gift from Munro and has 2
  18. Unfortunately not. Unless you connect your laptop to the screen.
  19. Umpiring leaving a lot to be desired..... it is VFL though
  20. Jed Adams has had some nice moments. Looks to be a player. Nice left boot
  21. Clever goal by Laurie
  22. Swans are dominating in the midfield
  23. That may very well be an ACL injury for Darcy Cameron. Looked like one of those very innocuous knee issues, like what happened to Tomlinson and Lever.
  24. So does this make us feel better about beating the Dogs or worse about losing to the Lions?
  25. He was interviewed on Gus and Gawny's podcast. Absolute unit. Have a good feeling about him. Seems like the kind of bloke with a ton of talent but never really took footy too seriously growing up. Putting him into a full time, high standard organisation and he could really come on as a real smokey from that draft. His highlights remind me a lot of Robbie Gray personally.
