WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ

A lot of those were cheap pick ups and more for depth purposes.

Just getting my first team in for 2019.... Werridee gave us a different team every day.

		Farewell Jesse Hogan

Mahoney's interview discussin Hogan all sounded very rehearsed to the point I think they are a long way down the road with both Freo & GC. I think there is a 90% chance Hogan is at Freo and May is at Melbourne next year (opinion). Best 22 next year: B: Jetta May Hibberd HB: Lever O Mac Salem ? Fritsch Viney Harmes HF: Melksham Weid ANB F: Spargo T Mac Petracca R: Gawn Oliver Brayshaw Int: Preuss Kolodjashnij Lewis Jones

If Carlton don't come knocking with one of pick 24 or 25 then they are idiots.

		Jayden Hunt

I like Hunt but similar to Frost he needs to learn to play within his limitations. His best football was played as a lock-down defender who then turned defense into offense. He seemed to go away from that this year, to the point where he was making stupid mistakes i.e. jumping up 4th man up and not staying down. I also saw him do this in the VFL GF so I'd like to see him get this out of his game.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY

Could imagine one of those hits early doors Grand Final day to shake things up.

We should be asking for a first rounder and Ed Langdon at a minimum. Generational key forwards don't grow on trees.

Agree. The idea of 2 first round picks becomes more relevant when you know where they fall. If we get picks 4 & 5 from Freo this is a huge difference to picks 10 & 16.

I would take this in a heartbeat. I'd say we may have to give up next years' 1st rounder also though for this to happen.

		Farewell Dean Kent

It has to be a trade or he is de-listed. I'd say it will be a 4th rounder, but who really knows.

		Farewell Dean Kent

I think it will be a 4th. Players like Kent aren't worth much in a trade.

		Welcome to Demonland Toby Bedford

Everything I read in that report was exactly the player we need. Get him into our system and watch him flourish into a forward pressure gun!

		Jayden Hunt

I am absolutely confident he will be best 22 in the future. Seemed to have some injury concerns at the start of the season and in pre-season which killed his confidence. Think he was also rushed back too quickly against Sydney out of necessity and wasn't ready. I think he just needs to re-set come pre-season next year and work on doing the little things right. Confident that McCartney will get him back to his best.

Bailey Williams is another Dandy player who is touted to be in the top 20. Is he also available to us under these rules?

		Bernie Vince Retires

Thanks Bernie for all your efforts. The day we hold up the cup he deserves to be in the rooms with the boys to celebrate!

		Farewell Jesse Hogan

I was thinking this also. Play Weid/TMac up forward and Lever, OMac & Hogan in he backline. That is easily the best group of KPP in one side.

		Andrew Gaff

Of course I haven't spoken to Gus. Never met him in my life. I'm just sharing my opinion on a supporter forum like everybody else.

		Andrew Gaff

I could ask the same question of people saying Gus won't want Gaff at the Dees. It's all ridiculous innuendo. These are grown men playing football, the will be able to move on from this.

		Andrew Gaff

That was fairly soon after the incident and he still sounded a bit shaken by it. His Dad has recently come out to say all is forgiven and they want to move on. Also heard Hamish Brayshaw will be organising a meeting between them both to 'move on'. If Gaff wants to become a Dee there will be no issues between him and Angus.

		Andrew Gaff

When Gaff was talking about the incident, he mentioned that at the time he did not want to go back out on the field. Given where the game was at, with the Eagles winning comfortably, it is surprising that Simpson and the Eagles player welfare team did not advise him to finish up for the day. The vision of Gaff on the bench distraught, with Simpson trying to talk with him seems to look like he is frustrated that he has to continue playing. Where I am going with this is, I wonder if that will have any impact on his decision whether to stay or leave. If he felt that he wasn't looked after as a player of the Eagles, it may way his decision away from staying there. Drawing a long bow I know but just some food for thought. On a side note, the Eagles as an organisation has had a very poor year off the field in the way they have conducted themselves. From someone who previously lived in Perth, couldn't have happened to a better club, they really are an arrogant bunch of to$$ers!

Pretty big difference between Gaff and Wallis. I get your point though. I'm sure we are going to go hard at free agents this year. We are right in the window so don't need skinny kids, we need to improve our list ASAP to win a flag. I'd like to see us also go after a mature key defender but not sure what the options are.

How do media personalities get away with making comments based on nothing but their own opinion? The media today is just a cesspool of people trying to be make themselves relevant.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY

This thread is dumb. So what a 18 year old key position player had a poor first game. Wow that must've never happened before......
