They got up one spot so technically they received pick 15, Burton and Mayes for Wingard.

If we get a player Ed Langdon would be the one I want. Obviously Cerra or Brayshaw would be a dream, but I highly doubt this will happen. Langdon will add another high pressure player in our froward line and some needed speed.

Scully's ankle is [censored] and Wingard is a downhill skier. Plus they are losing Burton who is a very promising young gun. Had a poor season this year but was a gun in 2017.

WTF are Freo up to? They are seriously a shambles.

Agreed ProDee. I'm comfortable with 5 and 23 as I think we can make that work for us in some way such as a swap with the Crows. Pick 5 by itself is massive unders in my view and would be a fail by Mahoney and Co., even if it nets May & KK. There is being pragmatic and then being a pushover and this would be pushover levels. I was comfortable with the Lever deal last year as he is an outstanding talent and two later first round picks are different to a top 5 pick, but it is important we get fair valu for a player of Hogan's talent.

The only other option I see as palatable is if we already have an in principle agreement to send pick 5 and a 2nd rounder to Adelaide for picks 8 & 13.

That's what Bell is attempting to do.... unfortunately for him he would never be able to reach

I believe it's Jason Dover

A mate who actually spoke with Lachie on Friday. Obviously it is dependent on the Bell-end but the feeling was it's pretty much finalised. The Hogan deal I was assuming. I highly doubt the Dockers will want to lose Neale without a 'big fish' to show to their supporters.

Word is the Neale deal will be done tomorrow. I assume the Hogan deal will be done on Tuesday and then the May deal finalised on Wednesday.

That article suggests it will get done once Neale is traded, as everyone already thinks. Freo are just using tactics to try get the best deal possible, but obviously they aren't trading with amateurs so we will have our 'walk-away' price and that is fair enough. Pick 5 and 2019 2nd round will get it done, which is a bit disappointing as I think he is worth pick 5 and a pick around 15-18, but that is really just crying over spilt milk. We will send 5 to GC and hopefully get a 2nd pick back to use in the draft.

Why not? He played there as a junior.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
If I was Freo I'd be doing the following: Pick 11 & 23 to GWS for Lobb and pick 14 Neale & pick 49 to Brissy for Pick 5, 2019 2nd round & pick 41 Pick 5 & 14 to Melb for Hogan We can then send 5 & 32 to GC for May and pick 24- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Word of May touring the Dogs facilities. This could actually force Freo's hand as they will know our incentive to trade Hogan this year would disappear if May was off the table.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Really enjoyed the guy calling in talking about how good Matt Taberner and Brennan Cox are. In Cox's second season he kicked 18 goals. In Hogan's first season he kicked 44 goals.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Yeah they did. Not sure what happened.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
If a deal doesn't get done I think JH and his management would be pretty filthy with Freo. Could be the instigation to get him to sign a long-term deal.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
How funny would it be if the Eagles offer a great deal and they get him next year. Or even better he signs on and becomes a coleman medalist and multiple premiership player.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Clubs are happy to help depth players move to clubs where they may get more of an opportunity. The North one was more of a head scratcher as he is best 22. I guess with Hall and Polec coming in they thought he was surplus.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
You really think Kent is worth more than this? The bloke can hardly get out on the park. North Melbourne traded a guy to the Swans who played 20 odd games in 2018 for pick 61.- Farewell Dom Tyson
Yeah agree. It really depends what they are wanting.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Apparently Fagan came out and said he hasn't requested a trade. Barrett then back tracked saying 'in an ideal world Dayne Beams would be at Collingwood next year'.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
haha brilliant- Farewell Jesse Hogan
I won't listen to trade radio when he is on. Mind you I've pretty much stopped listening to all of them. Bartel is really the only one I don't mind listening to. - Farewell Jesse Hogan
