Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
100% they do. News.com ran with the May/Prestia story and their only source was Tom Morris tweets...

Media Madness
Got to love Eddie acting like he wouldn't do similar things to stand up for Collingwood players... James Hird has also just become another mouth piece for the media machine.... it's a sad world we live in.

Media Madness
My god the hypocrisy from the media is beyond embarrassing. It's obvious that the clubs are getting sick of them and starting to call out their BS. I also think supporters are sick of them as well, at least I hope they are. I no longer watch or listen to any AFL based content as a way of showing my disproval of the way they operate. I hope more and more supporters follow as it is the only way we can get a change from these parasites.

Media Madness
I don't think he needs to change. He wears his heart on his sleeve, I don't mind that from our president. A bit like an Eddie McGuire but without the 'accidental' racism...

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Gawny shared on Instagram last night having a sauna with Clarry... felt like a bit of a F You to some in the media.

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Would love us to take him as a developing tall and bring him over to play with his brother!

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Also the fact they smashed the Tigers

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Turner is going to be a very good player for us and already is. I actually prefer him down back, though he has shown he is very competent as a forward as well.

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Judging by Goody's press conference I reckon Johnson may get a call up.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
This is a very good point and hopefully something he is discussing with a mental health professional, such as a psychologist. A change of scenery may improve things temporarily, but what happens when it gets hard again as it inevitably will.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
They have Jack Williams as well who is 198cm. I'm guessing we will start with May on Waterman, McDonald on Reid and Turner on Williams. Petty will have to second ruck, unless we really change it up and chuck a Melksham in there which is unlikely.

The 2025 Indigenous Guernsey
That's awesome and great that Kozzy's father designed it!

Trade Targets
I see Liam Ryan is open to a move with a year early.... I think he and Kozzy are fairly close so could be one to watch.

TRAINING: Thursday 1st May 2025
Oh god... hopefully nothing too serious... He was in training photos from earlier in the week, so must be something that's just come up.

Trade Targets
Draft capital is fine. We have future picks from 2026 & 2027 we can trade if we get a key player like Morris on board. Becoming an attractive destination is the hard thing for us.... which is why winning for games in the back half of the year and playing exciting football is very important.
- Training Ground?

Training Ground?
Did seem Eddie and Paul know each other fairly well though....

Training Ground?
He's definitely said multiple times in interviews he won't comment on Caulfield as he isn't fully across it yet. Fair enough given he has only been appointed this week and technically doesn't start until later this year. That is the reason Pert has been kept on as a consultant for the Caulfield project to ensure the process is progressing.

TRAINING: Thursday 1st May 2025
Gee that's a concern given it was only re-done a few years ago!

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
In his very first interview on the website Paul mentions the World Commerce Conference in September and that he plans to continue to be involved with this. Based on that interview it seems fairly clear the board would've been aware of it no?
-
Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
I am aware of that, doesn't make it messy though. We would've been well aware of his timelines for resigning from his current role. He's an existing CEO at an organisation outside of the AFL, they would likely have clauses of up to 6 months for notice of resignation. Bit different if he was an existing AFL club CEO, as they would then often be put on 'gardening' leave so as not to have a conflict of interest.

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
It's a figure of speech, whether they should've used those words who knows. It's not messy at all. I really don't understand posters concerns with any of this tbh.

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
I took it that the interviewer misunderstood the situation rather than giving a drive by.

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
To everyone questioning the start date, I think it should be seen as a positive. Do we want to be employing a CEO who can just jump straight into this type of role? That would mean he is either currently unemployed, or is in a lower role and doesn't have a long exit time required. I imagine with his current employment contract as CEO there is an extended timeframe that he must give when resigning from his CEO position. This is fairly standard for that type of role, given it is highly specialised and important to an organisation, so as to give them time to plan for his exit.
