Hunter is not a smart footballer

Trade Targets
Was a defender and a very very good one, with the best field kicking of all key defenders.

Trade Targets
Here is the list and Iโd like all of them. Lukosius- to play back Waterman- He and JVR ๐คค Lobb- 3rd tall and Ruck Dylan Shiels- wonโt cost much and apparently back to peak powers. Just need a medium defender. Howes to wing, Juddy and Rivs to play more midfield along with Windsor.

CASEY: Rd 14 vs Northern Bullants
Have seen a few games from Adamโs now and he looks to have the worst ground ball skills for a big defender. He looks like a ruckman below his knees. Hope to be proven wrong

CASEY: Rd 14 vs Northern Bullants
I know people are keen to write Laurie off, but he is as hard as a cats head.. some incredible tough efforts in the wet today. would love to see him have a look at Chandlers spot.

Trade Targets
I think we need another couple of class small defenders. I can see Juddy and Rivers filling our midfield. Windsor also.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Brisbane
A great performance last night. Midfield looked a hell of a lot better, Clarry had some bounce, Vines amazing and Rivers should never play back again. AmW what a great young player. He, Woewi, Doggie and Kolt are all very good additions. Would have loved the win, but we just couldnโt convert late and kill momentum. 3 things I want to point out. JVR has come on this year and is now a one touch player. He reminds me of Neita in that he hits the ball hard with his chest out. 2nd is that Clarry looks happy. I know his performances have been off a bit, but he looks more calm and settled. Understand he has battled ADHD and is on medication for it. I recon his best footy was when he was on edge, but you canโt live like that. I think we keep him at all costs and turn him back into a star next year, better version on and off the field. Lastly- well done to those who travelled to watch the game. The boys definitely got a lift and it was noticeable the cheering on the TV. Cheer up Dees. This year is a building block for next year. Another few layers to add, but we are better placed then I thought

Dees defensive work in last 2 mins against North
Iโd prefer anything over BT.. he would have watch the Melbourne v North last 2 minutes and said โyou really get the feeling North need to score here, otherwise it is going to be tough to come backโ..

Steven May staging fine

CASEY: RD 13 vs North Melbourne VFL
Our footy program appears pretty average

This is unlikely to happen but I would love to see Kynan settled into and develop into a half back this year. IMO we are still one really good small defender short in the back half. Howes is weak one on one as is Bowey. Bowey could move onto a wing or half forward. Chandler could cut oranges for a few weeks till he finds a pair.. Juddy will be sublime when he enters the midfield rotation this year or next.

I love how our forwards, huddle together, then we kick the ball on their heads.. and only the defenders have ability to run and jump at the ball. I also love how opponents can have 1m space and manage to mark the ball, yet we can have 2-3m and still get closed down. And when we do, they will the ground ball. Staggering
