  1. Loved him as a player and a bloke. Certainly made the right decision for his future, which looks really bright post football. What will this mean for a list spot?
  2. I thought we looked pretty average. There was certainly a more aggressive mindset and our defence suffered. Donโ€™t think I can remember having so many opponents getting free out the back like today. The media are probably right about us, we are intriguing this year. Not sure what we will offer.
  3. Gee some flaky defending. Howes looks a very easy player to hassle out of the contest.
  4. I predict we lose round 1.. watch the media pile on then.. not sure where we end up at the end of year. Way too complicated and too many outside factors. But we have potential and track record of strong performances, what luck we get, we will see.
  5. Club are slow to release any media. Suspect 2 training videos and 14 photos from training a week is draining their resources (work experience kids)
  6. What happened to his brother, I saw he didnโ€™t get picked up? Surprised he isnโ€™t worth a rookie spot.
  7. Thanks so much for the report Werridee. A bit disappointed to hear Langdon not there, I think he Sparrow, Spargo, Chandler and Joel Smith have the most to lose with who we have recruited and with Howes showing form. But time will tell I guess how much he wants the wing.
  8. No problem with our media team.. they are only good for a few snaps two to three times a year.
  9. Never seen a set of heads like the class of 2023.. gee I hope they can play
  10. Most irrelevant article of all time. Rating players before they even play and rating clubs, not on their performance, but the draft currency they held. Well done GC on your academy picks and to North for adding top end talent with AFL concessions.. blah blah blah
  11. Struggled as a fitness guy, might have been out of his wheelhouse too
  12. Chandler and Spargo stay, but I can see Laurie and Moniz Wakefield being played in the back half. I think our wingers might be the most nervous.
  13. Thanks Jaded. That probably changes it perspective. Iโ€™ve been all in on keeping him, think he is a star, but worried about his durability. I thought if itโ€™s a year to run, then maybe trade him as he appears to be going at some stage. With 2 years, letโ€™s hope he plays out of his skin next year, wins us a flag, then i would cash in!!
  14. Did he say he was contracted for 2 years? I thought only till 2024.
  15. Half back flanker
  16. Still missing a 2nd ruck. I think we might see Fullerton come in and Petty or Smith play back.
  17. Happily walk away from this. We control the trade, not Adelaide. They must have him confused with Rankin.
  18. We need to find some gun midfielders this draft, got a feeling we could be one down!! ๐Ÿ˜ข
  19. Pick 1 in my mind is not worth it, Iโ€™d trade up for 2 top 10 picks, but not 1. It is cursed!!
  20. If Petty wants to go back to SA, understand talk of a trade, otherwise he is irreplaceable in my opinion. And Iโ€™m not talking about a potential forward, my view is he takes the main key defender post for the next 8 years
  21. Is he Zach Merrittโ€™s taller twin brother?
  22. Shoulders I think. Talking to a mate in SA, he has developed a hatred for physical contact
  23. Any other charity picks I should keep an eye out for? Looking forward to seeing who we pick with our first selection, pick 18 ๐Ÿค”
  24. He is a Marking small forward. We donโ€™t have any of them
