Listened to the full interview and was left with no doubt that the embarrassment that I feel for this club is justified. I had a feeling that she was out of her depth and causing friction within the club, post interview I have no doubts. Whately was brilliant too btw.. maybe he should conduct the internal review (tongue in cheek)

Injury aside, she talks up how she hears from families about a young kid re-signing and how they love the club, yet has barely spoken to the family of our highest paid player… a guy who is extremely family oriented.. it’s management 101

McCrae for sure! I can see the Adelaide teams having issues fitting Lukosious in, hoping we can swoop. But you might be right.

I think we need some midfield senior depth. Parker and someone of similar quality and experience. Maybe not best 22, but best 24-25. I like Lukosius as a replacement for Petty down back. Our forwardline I am okay with, they need time to gel. Then we need 2 really good high draft midfielders. Assuming Trac goes, we need to find a one/two combo, like the Trac and Gus draft. Unlike most, I want Juddy and Rivers to continue down back, with Howes and AMW developing their craft.

Or payments outside the cap. Could Tracs Mrs be a Visy ambassador?

I see a lot of players being thrown up from rival clubs, but none linked with us. We have that early 2013 pong about us. Interesting a lot of players linked to Adelaide clubs.

We need strong characters, leaders who can impact on and off the field. He is exactly what we need, even for just a year or two.

I think we need to work out a trade. I don’t like keeping players against their will. Particularly when we have an unsettled group and lots of small fractures. Whichever club takes him will have immediate salary cap pressures, so they will need to include a player. It will be a player, plus a first round and potentially a future first. We need to make it happen this draft. I for one, will not welcome him back post this.. this behaviour frustrates me.

Agree. I am probably a bit hot headed with this stuff, if trust is broken on either part, it’s best to move forward and go seperate ways. This years draft is a critical period, we need to nail it and Trac gives us the whip hand.
