we need 4 more wins and play all bottom 4 teams. So... whats the problem??? I know the Blues will be tough, but this is where Lewis and Vince etc earn their money. We need to cope with adversity. We don't deserve finals if we cannot beat bottom teams. Although going on 2017 form, we will beat the crows and GWS and lose to some bottom teams!

confucious say, team who makes 5 or more changes rarely wins unless absolutely required I would not make any more than needed through injury. Certainly Wagner would stay in if I was picking the team. not many had a good game on the weekend

Someone call the pub and tell the three lads they're in for next week!!
-
So just 7 of our top 10 players out then? wtf!! Can we catch a friggen break!?

Who is your pick to step up over the next month?

Misson. Get those hammies right. Any reoccurrences and we are proper fked -
Deserves 6 weeks. Worse than the houli hit. Moronic act and it'll take a lot of time to regain respect with players and coaches

I'm picturing you looking out a window longingly, drinking a scotch with a single tear running down your cheek

B: Nic Newman, Heath Grundy, Nick Smith HB: Zak Jones, Dane Rampe, Jake Lloyd C: Isaac Heeney, Josh P. Kennedy, Callum Mills HF: George Hewett, Lance Franklin, Kieren Jack F: Gary Rohan, Sam Reid, Tom Papley FOLL: Sam Naismith, Dan Hannebery, Luke ParkerI/C: Oliver Florent, Jarrad McVeigh, Lewis Melican, Dean Towers looking at their team it is quite small. Grundy the only def over 188cm I think? Only one ruckman, not sure how would play 2nd ruck, maybe reid. I think we should play Gawn fwd 40% and get Tmac/Pedo on the ball/ruck. Gawn could cause havock!

He said "I believe" therefore it is his belief only. one can assume just an opinion I'd call play on

You finally taken your Stand-Up show on the road Bitter?
-
I hope Buddy tries to take on Frosty, (Cale Hooker-style) down the wing. he will get eaten alive!
-
Also Viney didnt walk into a great team winning flags. he more than any other player on our list has dragged us forward and lifted our standards by the time Viney is 30, he will have no peers
-
Id love it if they tried to rough up Oliver. poke the bear, he will not take a backwards step and will still get 35 touches Oliver head to head with Kennedy will be great to watch. he should learn a lot (but still beat him)

Do you think 12 makes it for sure? Or 80% of the time?
-
Just checked out his bio on mfc. Not only do we share the same birthday (not the same year!) we are also the same height and weight. Like, exactly the same. Has to be a good sign not sure we share the same skin folds but!

Can't see us winning this week. 5 of our best out, three 6 day breaks. Sydney midfield on fire. Out forward line is poor and will be found out eventually. Kent must have slept with Goody's mrs and sister. We really need his speed creativity and aggression up fwd

Houli should appeal
-
The thing that will hurt us most is that the five players missing are ~top 7 ball users at the club. I think we'll look uglier than usual and probably kick more behinds than goals
-
Madness! Tough draw and we need 5 wins from 9 games. I'd say we are a good chance at finals but could easily blow it.
-
Very strange year. No very good teams. GWS the closest but they have been raped by injuries
-
I'm still in awe of Vineys game yesterday. One of the best individual performances I've seen from a melbourne player, ever True leadership, toughness, brilliance. I think we will see him lift the premiership cup one day. Hopefully a few times.

Played 10 games for us, we've won 8. No coincidence. The blokes a winner and we are a significantly better team when he plays
-
Expecting a drop in pressure from us this week as we can't perform like we have every week. Watts and hogan out. Im expecting a frustrating loss tonight. But we'll beat the swans next week

Is Kassel worth a visit? I go to Marburg for work every now and again
