Run home to Finals - 2018
Have done the old ladder predictor (i know I know) and I went with what I consider the favourites for each game. Have us winning GC and Swans and losing to WC. before round 23 we are in the 8, see below with no chance of getting kicked out unless Hawks make up 7% in one round. if you change it around to us losing to swans, we will be overtaken by the Hawks or Essendon if they win and we lose to GWS with GWS playing for the top 4. im not sure I can handle the next 4 weeks!!!! W L D 1. Richmond 17 4 0 136.4% 2. West Coast 15 6 0 120.1% 3. Port Adelaide 15 6 0 115.5% 4. GWS 14 6 1 115.6% 5. Collingwood 14 7 0 117.1% 6. Melbourne 13 8 0 125.8% 7. Geelong 13 8 0 118.6% 8. North Melbourne 13 8 0 111.1% 9. Hawthorn 12 9 0 118.9% 10. Essendon 12 9 0 104.4% 11. Sydney 11 10 0 106.9% 12. Adelaide 9 12 0 96.7% 13. Fremantle 8 13 0 82.0% 14. Western Bulldogs 6 15 0 73.5% 15. St Kilda 5 15 1 77.0% 16. Brisbane Lions 5 16 0 91.1% 17. Gold Coast 4 17 0 63.9% 18. Carlton 2 19 0 64.3%

Losing Jack Viney
Jack Viney - sole captain for the next 5+ years if I had my way

Changes v Gold Coast Suns
I was talking about the mental and physical toll of getting up for big games away from your home ground. It all adds up. With most of our important players being under 23, I would expect a ‘down’ game at some point

Changes v Gold Coast Suns
No change unless someone’s injured. I reckon the boys will be flat against GC. Two big away games after Darwin. Don’t be surprised if it’s close at half time. We need everyone out there

ROUND 19 - Non MFC games
Sweet! Thanks for that swans deperately need fit quick players so Jones out hurts

ROUND 19 - Non MFC games
How many weeks did Zak Jones get? Suspensions came out but haven’t seen his name yet

Run home to Finals - 2018
Man it’s gonna be tight. Difference between 3 and 10th at round 23 might only be a game! North should make it now with 3 definite wins and 1 probable win Collingwood will fall back into the pack. We need two wins and we should be ok to get 8th spot at least.

Congrats Jordan Lewis on 300 games
Congrats Lewis! will stand up in the big games, like he did on Sat night with 30 touches with a high efficiency rate hearing him speak on 360 last night you could hear how much he is invested in Melb and how much he wants us to be successful

Proposed new rules for 2019
Can someone please tell me why these rules changes would not be trialled for a year or more in the lower leagues around australia?? to put them straight into the AFL is ridiculous and they are toying with the great game! the first thing the committee should do is review all the rules changes made in the past 10 years and analyse their impact. The sliding/on the ground rule is a farce based off one injury to Rohan. the protected area rule is just ludicrous. also if incorrect disposal for example is no longer a rule then remove it or start to officiate it! then agree on the rules, tighten up the wording and room for misinterpretation in the rules. hire 30 full time umpires including at least 30% past players at VFL level or higher and train them to be consistent. pay them properly and rate their performance with consquences for poor performance

Clarry Leaves Track Early with Quad Issue (25/7)
if people get bad news, sometimes they like to emote in order to deal with the news. then they move on. if you don't that's cool but other like to

Clarry Leaves Track Early with Quad Issue (25/7)
I reckon Clarry just wants a lie down and a massage. Good to mess with the Crows heads. they will be planning around Clarry so this will throw them into a spin Doedee would be a big out. he is their intercept defender and important structurally

Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2022
Wow North's war chest must be HUGE now! Haha

Changes vs Adelaide
I’ve heard Sloane will play. I doubt smith would come straight back in. With O Mac, frost and Smith I don’t think we should go with any more talls Especially in the wet
-
Andrew Gaff
That ridiculous McGovern deal could have been done as they’ve found out Gaff is leaving. They don’t want both to leave so they offer overs. I wonder how Kennedy and Sheuy feel about that cash?
-
Changes vs Adelaide
Agree. and its looking like rain at the moment. our midfield should beat theirs so the wet should suit us *aside from me standing on the hill in the wet but if we win I won't give a rats!

Changes vs Adelaide
Good news is there are no new injuries aside from potentially Harmes Bad news is we don't have many at Casey in form. Pederson is going OK, Smith OK as well. Kent had 14 touches and no goals, not sure of his tackles/pressure. Hannan was dropped for extended poor form and didnt play I dont think You'd imagine JKH is out and perhaps Harmes (who would be a real loss) INS - Hannan if fit. who else? Bugg was even mentioned in the stats but he is the type of player we need (a runner) Hopefully Hunt, Viney and Hibbo are all back soon
