If only it were this simple. We will need to make hard calls soon. if we relax restrictions it will lead to some people dying but we can't stay like this forever and how long with a vaccine take? I'm glad we are so isolated in Australia, we should be able to manage this (with some damage caused) over time. Staying in lockdown all year is not the answer in my opinion

yeah i wouldnt be against them setting up some games or some sort of once-off comp. once they don't try to imply this is a real GF or a real flag i'm OK with it.

Would anyone on here on a fixed contract take 79% pay cut? Contracts are there for a reason. To provide job security especially in a career that on average lasts 4 years. The latest I heard is the slow broad spread of COVID in Australia and it will peak around late May. So delaying the season a few weeks won't help. this must be why they are trying to get a few games in and then then take a break. it's going to be a weird weird season either way
