May yes. Lever still has to put a quality full season together. the longer they play together the better when you have confidence in your big men at the back to mark/spoil, it makes it a lot easier for the others to run off and rebound

No doubt we have a mentally soft culture. when the chips are down or we are on the verge of something good, we generally fail. I want to see an angry team this year. I don't want people to 'like' Gawn, Viney, May, Lever, Clarry - I want them to respect and even fear them a bit. if I mess up, I'll get a bollocking. Every team does not need this for success but we certainly do. The A listers need to demand more, then the guys who coast like the 'Hunts' will naturally train harder, play harder, concentrate for longer. You need to be obsessed with success for it to come. I cannot disagree with Mark's comments.

It’s not really adventurous to tag a bloke in a practice game. I’m sure we were hoping Harmes might get some touch back but he didn’t play well, again.

They were completely full strength. We had 8 first 18 out. We were always gonna get flogged. It should have been worst but our defence was solid. One game but I was not that impressed with Jordon.
