  1. Carlton should win tonight, Williams and Martin come in and make them a lot better. O Mac with 3 off the bench this time Bears to beat the Cats Crows to beat Sydney - all 16 'experts' have tipped Sydney but I reckon the Crows are up an about Port - 100pt win Gold Coast 70 pt win Tigers by plently Dogs in a close one Giants in another close on
  2. Agree with this. Leaving the MRO decisions to the medical outcome means it is a lottery for players. The same bump or collision could be no concussion, a broken nose, full concussion just based on the timing and exact point of contact. Best thing to do, is to tell your players to not bump at all. (I think Goody did this today). it is not worth getting a 3 week ban.
  3. Medics give their best estimate each week. Sometimes setbacks, sometimes quicker than expected recovery. Not all injuries have a linear recovery period like a standard hammy strain.
  4. Per Changes thread, that same bloke tweeted Gus ok despite scare
  5. Viney in for Harmes reward the rest for the win. No one had a complete howler. Hibbo and Melk need another run at Casey imo and are not automatic starters
  6. Who would you play on the wing? We have a lot of inside mids
  7. Issues for Hunt are the same up front. Loses concentration, lacks awareness and goes missing. But at least fwd this impacts the team less and he can kick a couple of goals every few games. So I’d have him fwd over defence. But if I was choosing the teams he’d be out of the 22. Being quick isn’t enough to be playing back
  8. Probably our best option on wing #2 at the moment. and is versatile and good at stoppages. I hope he can play consistent good footy. He has it in him
  9. If this was Kozzi or Clarry getting three I’d be ropable but it’s not so I can live with it ?
  10. How long until Geelong appeal? id give it 30 minutes
  11. Was Siri available at short notice??
  12. 3 games confirmed
  13. Handy indeed! Especially adding in Cameron and Menangola potentially
  14. Thanks for your perspective sounds from the above that the bump is gone from the game. Who would bump when unintended consequences can get you multiple weeks even when the bump is executed correctly
  15. They would have been asked what they think about Danger potentially getting three plus weeks for an accidental head clash and are giving their opinion. An opinion I share. It doesn’t mean they don’t care for their teammate
  16. good news! Any chance we can just scan our membership to get in? And not book a poxy seat
  17. May was amazing. Best tall defender we’ve had in a long long time. 10 kicks in the first quarter. Amazing player
  18. But isn’t it legal to bump a player shoulder to shoulder? Forgive my naivity here, not my wheelhouse. So he is not guilty of the act, just the outcome as they incidentally clashed heads?
  19. So honestly folks - if it was Oliver in Dangers shows, how long would you think he should get for This? an accidental head clash if the shoulder hits the head, throw the book but this is a head clash. I think zero weeks or 1 week max.
  20. We’ve gotta stick to our plan. they’ll get past us with run sometimes but we’ll get at them too Jetta reads the play and has the experience to cope with small fwds. I’d put Sparrow on one of them, he is so competitive.
  21. Ryder marshall hanneberry Crouch Paton geary Frawley. not sure if they picked up any other injuries yesterday. GWS aren’t that good, not much up front. They have lost so much talent and have their own injuries the Saints will be a much tougher opponent with Crouch and Marshall back especially
  22. Saints without 7 best 22 players and us just missing 2 is an advantage, especially with both their rucks out. King back is a worry we should win the contested ball easily. They have few inside mids. Obviously the issue for us is their smalls and outside run. Lonie, Greasham, Billings, Higgins, Butler, Hill. jetta, Hunt, Hibbo, Sparrow will be busy on the smalls. We’ll see if Gus, Oliver and Trac can run both ways should be a cracker
  23. Something on your mind mate? Lockdown been tough on us all. ? I hear Dan Murphy was BoG
  24. Like I said with Hogan - no chance he’ll leave, close thread
  25. I like Jones at HF. 18 touches, 6 score involvements. Didn’t have a Great game but we need experience in the forward line right now and he is a good kick viney in for Sparrow or Harmes for me
