Mature talls like McDonald, M Brown and even Tomnilson? Out talls are pretty balancing. Just need them to fire. Daw adds almost nothing aside from the dreaded ‘depth’

Poor fwd, average ruck and decent Backman. doesnt make a lot of sense to me. We have some average fwd back up options, we don’t need more If we were after a ruck back up I’d have preferred we picked a youngish ruckman from the vfl or other lower levels that might develop

in fairness Brown, Weed, T Mac, M Brown, Petty, L Jackson (and maybe add in Tomo) is a fairly long list. unless you think the guys you mention above would be in the front of all those? not saying it is a great list, but on paper we are not short of tall fwds

12 weeks, then getting back match fit and stress fractures sometimes are prolonged if rushed so you'd say the chances of the Weed having a meaningful impact on the season are low

I don't mind Eddie and I reckon he should be judged over 25 years not just the last couple. No doubt he loved his club and achieved great things and has set the Pies up for being regularly at the top in the future. I hope he has finally learned some things about racism and the impact of what he and others might think are jokes, It's not the '90's anymore Eddie. You can't say King kong and Chimp anymore, its not OK. Having said that, I don't think he is a mean person, as in - he has not tried to intentionally hurt anyone. Australia has a massive tall poppy syndrome and it's not surprising to see many people rejoice in his resignation. But I doubt any would achieve what he has through his passion and hard work.
