after 2013 - possibly the worst season of any team ever - the way was up. anyone would have gotten us to improve. from winning 2 to 4 to 6 is not much improvement this year has been dissapointing, I refuse to get excited about only losing 16 games for the year. YAY we've improved!

beginning to understand why people cracked it when we got pick 3 for Frawley now. Leuenberg and Chip are fairly comparable as far as quality of player goes IMO. and rucks are always more in demand and get more cash so I wouldnt be surprised if they get pick 2. Chip wouldnt be on crazy money at the hawks so the highest band mustnt be that high.

Seedsman is being put up for trade as he is massively inconsistent. plays a terrific game and then gets dropped after going missing. maybe that will come with maturity - I thought he was younger than 23? worth a look. if his attitude is good. we def need speed and skill off half back

6 day break? a week should be fine for the players to recover from the sniffles. The young dogs are due for a poor game after being up for so long and by god we are due a win at that horrible ground. Lets smash em!

I could see him going to QLD. just seems like that sorta guy, chilled out, get away from the press. if he was consistent I would hate to lose him but he isnt so I'm not too bothered

if we do get him (slim chance) prepare youirselves for us playing way overs! 7 years, starting at 1.2 - 1.4mill per year. a club in our position has to pay overs

I wonder if GC regret not picking Hoges in the mini draft. Jack "he's better than O'Meara" Martin hasnt looked great. 8 goals from 8 games. so skinny that he can really only play forward pocket. Martin will get better but how could you pass over the Hulk??? nice to finally get one right!!

they were both highly rated within Collingwood and both in their first 22. Thomas had a (sort of) break our year last year and Keefe was in the 22 they are talking them down now of course but they are a decent loss for the pies

One of our worst quarters for the years followed by one of our best! Should have kicked 6 that term. Not without a chance but I suspect the 1st quarter will be the difference in the end result. Good to see the young guys leading the midfield. Viney Tyson etc Matt jones playing well

My tip is for west coast to lose tonight and next week and be in danger if dropping out of the top 4. The dogs are a top 4 chance

coming off after kicking a goal is ridiculous. interchange the mids when a goal is kicked but the bloke who just kicked a goal might actually be fired up and have a purple patch this is part of the reason we no longer see guys kicking 4 in a quarter too much. form and confidence is massive for forwards. e.g. Hogan kicks a gioal 5 mins in and come off. Dees win the next clearance and kick inside fifty to who? just friggen crazy

I'm just glad the conservation has changed from should we keep Gawny to I hope he signs. It was only earlier this season that he was playing rubbish in the VFL! what a turnaround his new wages are increasing each week so he'd be mad to rush signing. I am 100% confident he will sign, he loves the lads and the club.

Love Jetts. was in the top 3 players on the ground on sat in my opinion. Defenders never get rewarded but he was great. having a settled backline is so important rarely makes a mistake and is tough.

Don't know much but stretch needs to be dropped. I watched him a bit and he just never ran into space to give an option. I know he is a kid but he was s liability yesterday. And I've stuck up for Dawes but he is just not a footballer. That was a disgusting performance.

I've been surprised and really impressed with roosey picking kids over older but less talented guys. Stretch, ANB, Harmes, brayshaw all playing regularly bodes well for our future. I'm glad we are not playing mackenzie and m jones just to try to snag a few wins. Imo roosey is taking a few hits for goody. Add in petracca Salem Kent hogan venders and other kids and we have a seriously good core of young guys.
