The bombers continue to embarrass themselves

2020 Grand Final
Anyone putting Dangerfield and Dusty in the same conversation need to stop. He is so far ahead. Danger had a poor game. Dusty loves the big stage hawkins is another who choked. Marked close to goal and played on for a snap? Take your time and take the pressure

2020 Grand Final
He’ll regret it if he doesn’t already. Be a millionaire at the cats and win more flags or get more money at the suns and play in front of 5K fans
-
2020 Grand Final
Pity he chased money. He would have at least one more flag bid wager he’d have 4 medals. amazing player but why he went to Gold Coast in his prime only he can answer

2020 Grand Final
I’d just like to thank the folks on here for pointing out that we passed on Dusty twice in the draft. I had no idea! thanks guys, keep it up! ??

2020 Grand Final
Middle of GF day and a few beers in and I still couldn’t give a rats who wins

2020 Grand Final
Chin up mate, we’ll be on the bottom again in a few years

How Geelong does it
Well they’ve been up for almost 15 years so who knows when they’ll slide or if they’ll slide. I was so sure they were done after 2018 and now look at them

2020 Grand Final
So it’s GF Day, guess I’m gonna crack my first can around 11am like usual. Then just 8 hours til the bounce. if someone could let me know who wins that would be great

2020 Grand Final
8 finals appearances and first GF for danger. Terrible record. Part of me wants the Cats to lose as if they win, it would vindicate all the glory hunters that have joined them over the years. When I say part of me, I mean 99.9%

Farewell Oscar McDonald
Agreed. They are giving Aidan Corr 600K/yr for some reason. So I assume O will be snapped up too

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Second rounder for Brown would be a good get

TMac on the Trade Table?
The Swans could do with a big body to protect their young keys. Buddy is pretty much retired
-
Jimmy Webster
Worth a look - maybe as we need good users off half back. He could also free up Harmes. 27yo. 188cm. 100games
-
Brad Crouch
Don’t agree. They are sorely missing class and X factor. Ironically a player like Trac is what they need. but a solid team none the less
-
Brad Crouch
Good get from the Saints, they need a mid to help Steele on the inside. King should improve too. theyll be around 5-9th you’d reckon next year
-
Jeremy Cameron
The only positive out of this is GWS are pretty screwed. Williams and Cameron and two massive losses. the writing is on the wall, a lot of other giants will be calling their agents to flee the sinking ship. Hopefully we can snag a Kelly/Greene/Himmelberg/Whitfield at some point

2020 Grand Final
confirmed Hawkins is isolating as a precaution i'm going to find it very difficult not to find it assuming if he misses the GF due to a covid + test

Luke Jacksons best position for 2021
Would be great to have big mature bodies around him to take the best defenders and let him ease into AFL footy. will cause nightmares for defenders if he can build a tank and work around the ground.

Jesse Hogan on the way out at Freo?
Freo have been burnt bad. He clearly can’t get his head right to play at the level even with family and friends around. are you guys for real that you think we should go for him?!?

Trade Targets
anyone know much of Blakely from Freo, been put up for trade. 6'2' HB. could be good cover for HB? from footwire: Connor Blakely signs a three-year contract extension to remain at the Dockers until the end of 2022. "Connor's size, athleticism and running ability, as well his ability to play half-back and also develop as an inside midfielder … we see that as a really strong component to our mix," Fremantle list manager Mark Micallef said. Blakely, 23, is one of the club's most promising young ball-winners, but has endured a 2019 campaign stunted by injury and missed the first eight matches with a hamstring issue. However, he has made a strong return and is on track for a fourth successive season of averaging more than 20 disposals per match across both half-back and through the midfield.

Jesse Hogan on the way out at Freo?
I was upset when he left but looking back, getting May for Hogan will go down as a terrific trade for us Hogan has so much baggage the poor fella. barely played a good game in two years in his home city. it will only get worse from here unless he gets his head right

Free agency - the rich (clubs) get richer
this does not change the fact that high quality players will want to go to top clubs. I take your point that if the entire structure of contracts and FA change things may be different but that won't happen. We are likely to have FA in a similar form in the AFL in the near-mid term. and there is no doubt that it favours the top teams and makes it very difficult for a lower team to win the flag.
