  1. The only way I can see we would have gotten Cerra is if we traded Jackson for him. Ergo, I deduce that we did, in fact, put Jackson on the trade table and Jackson said no or Fremantle said no. So I think this means that Jackson will re-sign, but then maybe he won’t as he hasn’t yet.
  2. Seriously Nev, what are you going on about? You’re literally making all of this up in your head and it’s all over the place.
  3. After giving “the best presentation they’ve ever seen” (by Melbourne), Cerra was obviously keen (on coming to us). His agent stated he just couldn’t see how they’d get a deal done, “they’d (Fremantle) would probably want Jackson” (it was a quip). When Cerra’s agent asked Melbourne how they’d get the deal done, their response was “don’t worry about that”. It then ended there. Read what you’ve posted above, which I’ve highlighted in bold and italics. You’ve created a scenario in your head that didn’t happen, then posted it as almost being fact. You’re essentially catastrophizing, and it’s not the first time you’ve done this.
  4. On a few occasions the player agent said that Melbourne gave the best presentation they’ve ever seen, amazing to hear. On Jackson, his name was only mentioned because Cerra was keen on Melbourne however his agent said Fremantle would probably want Jackson, and that’s not going to happen. It was Cerra’s agent who brought up Jackson by name, no one else. Let’s not look for something that isn’t there to create drama when it’s not required.
  5. I hate everything to do with ‘cancel culture’ but fully support David King being cancelled after seeing this.
  6. SD and DVD? 1997 called, they want their technology back.
  7. I can’t access the article, is it Robbo’s list of who he thinks are the top 50 players going into 2022 or his list of top 50 players to watch?
  8. That story from Garry and the accompanying footage is tough viewing.
  9. Just came on to ask the same question.
  10. Don’t you get enjoyment out of their suffering? I know I do. The thought of anyone winning the GF other than us makes me feel ill.
  11. All of a sudden I’m not against the umps being called maggots.
  12. Pretty much all of the FTA TV stations how their own app which has the option to watch live tv from. Have you downloaded the apps for each channel you want to access to?
  13. Missed being able to watch the game live, then saw the score so haven’t bothered to watch the replay. Should I start panicking or just an off day?
  14. Could watch this all day, absolutely beautiful.
  15. I prefer maggot over the odd swear word. Looks like we have an old fashioned stand off friend. How about we just all become offended at everything together?
  16. I tried to be serious once and even then people thought I was joking.
  17. Salem has always had a little bit of extra junk in the trunk.
  18. Curls get the girls.
  19. I feel like if we spoke about the AFLW players in the same way; referring to their “bums” “butts” “cracks” “big butts” etc, would result in the thread being deleted and/or a warning/ban. All for talking about players putting on size/trimming down but talking about “big butts” and the like, is a little distasteful.
  20. To be fair, their supporters probably couldn’t afford to buy the merchandise.
  21. I have to somewhat agree, however I think it’s a little less cringe because we won the GF last season. Nothing will ever be as cringe as Carlton’s “Can you smell what we’re cooking” campaign. A big ole’ [censored] that’s apparently still bubbling away.
  22. We can’t just take your word for it, prove it.
  23. Shotgun. Baseball bat with nails. Kevlar vest. You’ll be right.
  24. How many times did they ‘digress’?
