I was responding to your post where you called all West Aussies soft: I most definitely don’t wear my service as a badge of honour. There’s laws against deserting your regiment/unit during an operation or deployment. I discharged from defence when it was time for me to move on, there were no issues. LJ is free to do what he wants too.

I’m a West Aussie and spent a good part of my 20’s away from my mummy dug in in Iraq and Afghan. Happy to be called soft to my face if you’d like. Also, things change. Family members can become I’ll, you get homesick, meet someone who’s from another city.. he’s entitled to change his plans.

Why would he extend for two years if we was guaranteed an eight-year deal with Fremantle at over $10 million.. any number of things could occur in those two years that could lower his value. A short term extension just isn’t going to happen.

Get LJ on your books and give him a bit of the old picket rev up.

Not surprising. Although, I think North need to go for an experienced senior coach, even if it’s a set-up similar to our succession plan. Yze would be a good fit for GWS, can definitely see him going there.
