It wasn't all down to Northey. Barassi was the force behind the revival which carried over to the Northey years. His coaching may not have produced the results while he was there but he laid the foundations for culture change and improved recruitment.

He pointed out a racist in the crowd. He didn't know her age. I was there that night and the crowd supported his actions. The balance of power, of everything has been overwhelmingly against the indigenous people of Australia since white people arrived. It will take powerful action to reverse this balance. Eddie McGuire is a complete arseh0le and should never have compared him to an ape. In fact he should have been sacked by the radio station.

Some other club or the scrap heap.

why? He's useless.

The worst thing is that THEY JUST GIVE UP.
-
It's not the selections it's the attitude and the lack of trying that just kills us, especially after last week.

I believe that if this team, our team had played with the effort and intensity of last week MFC could have won it today. There are too many pea hearts out there. They don't hold each other accountable. If you played like Watts at Hawthorn or Collingwood you'd get some pretty strong words from the leaders.

GAME DAY at Alice Springs - Round 9

Totally lost confidence. Playing from behind. Stopped tackling. Not taking the game on. It's psychological. -

No, he kicked it to Westhoff -
I don't. The team that won should stay unchanged unless jones is injured.

i believe this is likely what the selection committee will do.

The only spark will come from Garlett, Lumumba, Hogan possibly N Jones and hopefully Jack Watts (although I doubt the latter). -

The replacements include Casey level players: Bail, Fitzpatrick, M Jones, Spencer, Riley, Grimes, Stretch, Gawn. Casey is a cellar-dwelling VFL team. -

Have you not noticed the absence of Viney, Jamar, Tyson, Michie, Jetta, Kent, Salem, Dawes, Trengove, Petracca? -

He's useless. Certainly does not have blistering pace. Should be well on the way to delisting at the end of the season. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 8

So today we are fielding a half Casey side, half Melbourne side against a top eight candidate. Casey can't even beat other VFL teams! -
It's still good to see their arrogant supporters eating $h1t.

Hopefully we'll let loose with a volley of goals and not lose.

They're also on a ridiculous diet.
-
Yes that's the key. Draft is hit and miss. They're too young and unproven at the highest level.
-
No it's scarred by playing the 3 best teams in the competition in a row and being thrashed each time. The AFL is to blame for such a stupid draw for a mentally fragile, developing team
-
They've been smashed physically and mentally over the last three weeks. It will take the rest of the season to get over this aberrant draw and its negative effects on their psyche. Imagine if we'd played Brisbane, St Kilda and Carlton! We might have won two or all three games. Then the confidence rises and the skills and excitement level and intensity all rise. I blame the AFL.
