We simply just don't have the cattle.... The improvement is evident but we don't have the polish.... Dawes is great but just can't take a overhead mark & missing from 10-15 mts Roos mentioned 6 goals from our turnovers ....

It takes strong culture & leadership to ensure the playing group is switched on from the first bounce.... We are expecting way too much from players such as Tyson, Salem & Viney to dominate with les than 50 games between them... Need to look at players who have played 100 games & yet continue to make dumb decisions!

So happy for the players.... Just 12mths ago they were embarrassed by 145pt loss! The club was going nowhere & most of the players wanted out! How times have changed.... Players love the coach & coach believes in them!

We are not in the 70s or 80s were teams who have the best forwards win... If you kick the ball long teams will just get numbers in the back line & bring it straight back! If you maintain possession & execute correct passing you will score! Stop living in the past!

I think whilst 3 goals is not great... Using pathetic is very harsh... When you consider were our club has come from less than 12mths ago.... You remember 100pt floggings! Players wanting to leave....Look at the positives long term..... We have drafted well with Tyson/Salem ... Players like pedderson & watts playing better! Players are wanting to stay as development & culture occurring! The game plan if executed correctly & stop the turnovers will result in wins.... Listen to Bomber Thompson on 360 saying Roos is teaching the players on how to win finals football! Perspective needed here... A train wreck is not fixed over nite!

Roos is teaching them to play both ways! He stated in his presser it may take 2-3 preseasons to get the fitness & culture right to play both ways. Watts shows no aggression, hunger, tackling ability. All non negotiable and needs time at Casey around 4 weeks... Make him earn his spot! If not trade him!

Current training facilities best the MFC ever had... PJ was asked some question & said I don't think walking over the bridge to admin office in 5 minutes is to blame for the playing performance over the last 7 yrs! Tell that to Daniher teams... 6 final series, 2 prelims & GF.... At junction oval, pre seasons spread over 3 venues, no goal posts etc...

I think Roos & co would be installing a winning culture & setting high standards ... Let's not forget what tanking did to the culture & player exodus!

missed the point totally! What do his finances got to do with his health issues??? I think you need to read some of the posts on the MFC FB site, bagging Mitch etc... Makes me wonder about the quality of members!

I'm disgusted at some of the posters.... More concerned about the club rather than a persons health! Would you treat your fellow worker in the same way? Would you expect your employer to help their employees in time of need? Sure feel saddened we have lost a great player... But support him & the club! The ills of the MFC goo deeper & longer than just one player! Get well Mitch it's only a f....ing game!

At least Carlton lost by 80! We shouldn't forget the early picks with them haven't worked well either....

We have too many failures... Recruiting has been crap, but I'd say other club environments continue to develop far better... Early picks are no guarantee... Look at Stkilda, all early picks yet no flag, Carlton the same...

I have a 16yo son who stopped asking about the club ... Turned off, no interest. He was 8 when he saw them play finals in 06.... Don't think he will buy a membership when he turns 18.... How many other young kids has the MFC burnt in the last 8 yrs?? I still do, why I live in hope....

Key issue is development ..... Look at Cheney b&f @ box hill... How many games was he forced to play @ box hill before he could get a game @ Hawthorn?? Our young kids were not made to earn senior games..... Crap culture along with too many changes in coaches & instability!

On one hand great if he plays afl footy to help his health.... Is health should be the number 1 priority!But yet again the MFC will get shafted if this occurs.... Surely the club can help with his rehab if he has any chance of playing again!

I wish MC all good health.... Will there ever be a time that things will go right @ the club.... We can pick or develop gun players! We can't attract gun players! We can't keep any & with free agency I can see bottom clubs becoming a revolving door! I watched haw play last night & thinking why Frawley would stay?

No issue here... I'm sure the coaches will be wanting Jimmy to go back & show the things they want him to do... It's the things you do of the ball, 1 percenters etc

The lack of intensity & desperation shown by frawley when Wc scored the 1st goal is frustrating! Just can't understand why the desperation wouldn't be there! If you can't get motivated for Roos.... Pack ur bags & leave!
