My analysis- Afl shafted us with 4 games in 18days!

Reality is we have played 4 games in 18 days and a growing injury list of key players which would impact the performance of any afl club

How can the Afl call this a level playing field when one team plays 4 games in 18 days & the other team having had longer breaks?? im very proud of Goodwin who has never complained but the reality is it definitely has impacted on the team..

We lacked marking forwards... I thought Weiderman may have provided a target & either Kent or JKH to replace Garlet... Gotta trust the club as they have got it right most times this year...

The 2 deliberate frees paid were a disgrace!

I just wonder when the AFL will actually make this a fair comp! How can you have 1 side play 4 games in 18days when the other team hasn't....Get real AFL!

Injuries have finally caught up with 4 games in 18 days! Im sure the club had reasons but need to ask why Kent or Jkh not come in for Kent & Weiderman as a tall fwd? Csnt believe we have another captain injured... we are jinxed!

Shouldn't drop the games @ home....Freo,Nth & Hawks & now we pay along with injuries...

Will the footy gods ever give us a break with injuries..FFS

Both teams deserved to win and lose! How we won is beyond me...... How would Watts have felt kicking that goal vs to his 1st game he played on QB way back????

Whilst comp is very even...surely the mental toughness of our team needs to be question? 7 goals in that qtr! Who is our defensive coach? Goody needs to be asked about our defence and easy goals we leak!

Keep on saying we get scored against too easily! Be very surprised if we win from here....but nothing surprises me with their erratic nature!

It amazes me how some posters were questioning Lewis motives in playing for the MFC! His leadership continues to help develop our team and help set a culture of success!

I hope so! Im sure Goodwin would not want to have that type of culture!

The sooner our supporters, media or sadly club people stop referring QB as our GF the better! Just another game we want to win & the only GF were want to be associated with is the last day in Sept!

Hate to say but it appears these players just can't break away from dismal efforts/results which has dogged our club for decades! Game not over and I hope Im proven wrong today, but when will our team ever announce itself?

Early days .......Though I can imagine the backlash if we lose My concerns are why do we start so poorly with turnovers etc

Our biggest losing margin is 29 points..... Have been in a position to win all of our games.... Whilst very disappointing with playing poorly in some qtrs, hardly call them Insipid...( 2012-2013 totally insipid) Not making excuses, but all teams this year have gone through slumps, comp very even with only 1 game difference between position 5th-11 & 2 games between 5th-17 Maybe need to respect other teams ability, lets not forget North kicked 10-0 vs Adelaide in the 1st qtr 2 weeks ago

Bottom line is their best is great and capable of matching it with any team! Their worst is poor.....Its all about whats happening between their ears!

Goodwin is not going to start bagging his players & will deal with them internally...signs of a good coach Players yet to mature to turn up ready to play ...wether its leadership is hard to say
