We actually beat freo, Nth & Coll we should have qualified well before our last game!

Why would any member want to renew?? 11 years of pain & yet again another failure! Who takes responsibility?

Looking like a typical script of the MFC for the last 50yrs I followed them! Continued heartbreak after heartbreak for its suffering members/supporters! Bar a miracle in the last qtr its just another failed chapter of the MFC failure!

Every team has injuries etc..... The games we lost Freo/Nth were winnable & should have secured a top 8 spot by now... There is a lack of mental toughness/high intensity which raises its ugly within our team, lets hope Goody can find the right players/leaders to erratic this or we will never be able to get to the standard of playing finals footy!

Team needed talent in 2014 ...All three have delivered, Both Salem & Tyson have been hit with injuries & Hunt was a steal with still room to improve.. Hindsight is one thing & who knows how Kelly would have developed in our club vs GWS which was far more advanced than us. Who knows we stil may get him LOL. Yesterdays performance is all about attitude & intensity!

Tackles 51 vs 70 sums it up! Tom Mac x1 Oscar Macx0 Hibbered x 0 Peddersonx 0 Tyson x 1 three tackles between 3 of our defenders.. disgraceful & pathetic when you consider your wanting to play finals

To take a Goodwin Quote "we haven't achieved anything yet" Just don't know what happens to this playing group & can't bring the intensity required for such a game that meant so much .. what makes them from being such s hard tackling team to laying their first tackle at the 11min mark if the 1st qtr? Why do our leaders go missing yet you see the leaders in Geelong , swans etc stand tall & marshal their troops?

Footy club needs to get more ruthless & trust its supporters at the gate! Stop selling home games to darwin...we ended up taking longer to get there on the plane than the crows yet our home game! Dosent excuse whats happened today but as a club we need too have every home advantage & valuable 4 points & until we learn to stand up on our own feet will never be successful...I know Hawks have won flags playing in TAS but thats less than an hour and weather conditions on par.

Were not ready in 2016..... I guess not ready in 2017! Seriously 2017 will be very disappointing if we don't play finals... Whats concerning & needs addressing is lack of strong leaders to act on our lack if intensity very early on in the game...To go without a tackle for 11 mins in such an important game...Been the same theme against Nth & Freo games...Should have wrapt up a spot by now in the 8!

Tale of 2 clubs.. Swans bring a game of intensity & get the job done to help secure a top 4 spot! Demons bring a game of no intensity & now lose control of their own destiny to play finals! Go figure....Leadership & Culture I guess!

Tackles are a result of intensity full stop! Intensity has to be both ways on attack & defending! Simply put it they were down hill skiers for the 1st qtr! How they turned up knowing whats at stake still asks the question what are our leaders doing? Strong leaders should have picked that up in the first 5 minutes & barked out the orders etc!

Bulldogs has also already qualified for finals & were playing in the west...

Just listened to Goodwin presser... No tackle until 11min into 1st qt....WTF Whos to blame here for the lack of intensity, leadership or coaching? Its baffling how the players would not want to bring the intensity!

The answers will be at trade week .... Goody has some challenges in finding the leaders/culture that stops these lapses from occurring.... Very clear that we have huge lapses in our games we have lost in particular our 1st qtrs & even against the Lions & Port we let them back into the game ( though Port is a top team).

Team has failed to take up opportunities & have a mental toughness issue either through a lack of leaders & getting ahead of themselves! Whilst our winning games has improved from 2016 x 2...the gap between our best & worst is still evident.... Until that closes expect seasons like this! As Goodwin said we haven't achieved anything yet!

Petracca will only get better as its his second year... Question is our more senior players & leadership throughout the game & week to ensure they were up for this game!

20 yr member... Seen 2 gf in my life & got flogged by a combined 150+pts! Seen a handful of finals only to see them run out of gas as usual! Seen 10 years of a complete train wreck! Seen another missed opportunity today! Seen great players always dogged with injuries e.g. Lyon,Swarta, Now Hogan & Viney! Im sorry if i sound negative ....But I continue SEE failure from this club!

How would Viney be feeling? Has Busted his rear end, coming back from injury & playing hurt etc Players have let down their Co-Captain, themselves & suffering supporters!

If the playing group believed they deserved finals they would have won...hate saying this,but a typical MFC result! Goodwin may say history has no bearing on current results but something is wrong with our leadership/culture that our players didn't turn up for such an important game with an opportunity to secure a finals spot! Clearly either way if we don't or do play finals the list needs to find more mongrel e.g. Hibberd

Team continues to fall over at crucial moments...supporters have every right to be [censored] off from another pea hearted effort!

Just about done with this footy club..... Decades of pain apart from some successes which have always unravelled into infighting etc Though Goody 1st year...he needs to find tougher/stronger leaders in this team...

Still a 1/2 of footy to go... This club continues to breaks the hearts of its supporters & questions need to be asked....an opportunity to secure a finals spot vs a team playing for what? Were is the leadership to ensure the team is up for the game? Were is the intensity required to play at this level & for finals?

Goody is taking no prisoners....Dont perform ur dropped! Pederson has shown that opportunities will come up!

Just funny how things could work out...We got Tyson, Salem & Hunt from this deal so was a win on both teams

Imagine that... We gave up our pick 2 to GWS in 2013 who picked Josh Kelly & we will need to pay overs to get him now...
