Unfortunately the reality is the lack of success & decades of failures along with heartbreak losses, missed final opportunities has created this, here we go again attitude ... 2018 is no different with a fear that another heartbreak finish is upon us. Supporters just can’t trust the MFC!

The MFC will find a way to manufacture another record to emulate the one in 2017! Our culture is still in question when compared to the Swans who with injury & form are now looking at a top 4 spot god help us!

I just wander if the players canceling this camp is the difference, are they willing to leave no stone unturned to achieve success. In particular that they missed last year by the such s small margin!

Part of his problem was the poor culture & development of the MFC which gifted games to players who didn’t earn the right to.

You need to grab the opportunity when it presents itself as it’s clear they should be in the top 4 not fighting to stay in the 8 . Let’s hope they haven’t missed a golden chance!

Tom Mac stated we don’t have a mental toughness issues & we are the most contested team & fwd 50 entries but don maximise on it .. Isn’t mental toughness to finish off your hard work???

Game is made of 1% & Doing the preseason camp could have been the difference. I just think this group really have not left any stone unturned to find success

Is our club jinxed? Just as when we are assembling a decent list we lose Lever after bending over backwards to get him! Viney starts dominating & cops a serious foot injury Hogan gets cancer & now foot injury I know other clubs get injuries to their star players but FFS when will our club ever get the rub of the green?

Our club is cursed with bad luck jinxed .. call it what you want... Lever , Viney & now Hogan ... the unravelling of this club continues

The script of heartbreak & failures & owning records which label our club with a negative feel just continues... longest premiership drought, highest losing gf loss 96 points ( though port are now) the cats 186 fiasco , missing the 8 by lowest % , highest inside 50s & still miss the 8 this year Sorry can’t help myself yet our club finds a way!

Telling numbers point to that they don’t play both ways hard enough with defensive pressure & a efficiency within the forward line.. Wow to miss finals with such high % will be s sickening feeling

Roosy put it bluntly side can’t handle the pressure & so many missed opportunities of forward entries. Should be top 4! instead will be lucky to play finals ... if they miss this should be plastered on the walls of the club rooms for the players to see each & every day!

Yeah agree & it’s not a deal breaker but it’s the 1% when u do the small things that set a tone for your team .. great teams wouldn’t let things like this slide

There are 3 certainties in life Death, taxes & the MFC to find a way to [censored] things up! Im 54 & just when you think that just maybe I might start to see success & experience what most of my friends & family who have seen a flag & a few are tiger supporters who were suffering until 2017 which made feel at least there are others . Yet just as you hope, along comes the ever faithful reliant MFC failure factor guarantee! Before anyone unloads I’m still hoping that the footy gods will allow us to make finals & my continued support of 20+ year member will continue. But through my tormented & suffered experience with the Dees I feel once again they will continue to deliver the kick in the guts that we are so [censored] used to!

Definite mental toughness issues which cannot be ignored.. Sure we miss Hibbard , Melksham & Viney but FFS how do the Swans find a way with 2 players down to win ... wtf is wrong with our club that can’t forge the strong mental toughness??

Let’s hope the script of falling over the last hurdle is not repeated again. Should not be in this position with loses to cats & saints & should have been aiming for a top 2 or 4 position.

Agree somewhat, however Roosy is an expert & our most recent coach who would know our game plan & the 1% required in a close games! Reality is we have conceded too many goals

Listened too Roosy on the couch...Basically team has not balanced out when to go & when to defend, very odd though & one would think that with only a few minutes to go the players would automatically have defence on their mindset?? The script continues with Harmes suffering a broken hand & the injury list continues, the jinx curse continues!

Reality & sad fact is that between the Cats & the hawks they have won 7 flags since 07 & still playing finals & our club can’t even make the 8!

Our club is littered with these types of loses & we just can’t seem to stop them! We have gone from a possible top 4 & now lucky to make the 8 .. I just can’t see the positives... sorry I know the angle your coming from but I’m fed up seeing the cats & the hawks sneak into the 8 after so much success & what we have endured to just miss out again!

The script of failures continue as a MFC member/supporter have endured all the disastrous losses & limited successes only to see us fall short e.g. 87 prelim & GF of 88 & 2000. A similar script in 2017 saw us miss finals by the smallest of margins & same script appears to be looming in 2018 & only the MFC could follow this script perfectly! We can only hope that clubs like the tigers & bulldogs who endured similar failings will be finally broken!
