Why is a club that’s bombed out in straight sets in both teams accepting the award with both our captains

Not bagging Casey as the facilities are great for a suburban ground & it’s yielded flags for both teams… but it’s no we’re near the other afl elite top clubs … who’s idea was it to go 50-60 minutes away from our so called heartland … VFA port melb ripe for development with 18 flags & same theme song & a population growth of 20k…& under 20mins from the mcg

Look at the amount of funding the Cats have received from the state gvt over the last 20yrs to develop multiple stands. Yet they can’t find a blade of grass for a training centre for the MFC a club that bears the name of the city. Understanding that our club handling of this has been very poor in decades gone past, we are a club born out of a stadium the MCC/G we are not a club from a suburb which was part of the VFL, very frustrating https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kardinia_Park_(stadium)

Perhaps we have become a club who thinks that we are the best and win flags to the the point that’s what they are looking at and not what the next game or the next play ???

Too much back slapping celebrating winning McCallin Cup, club posting early in the AFLW season on the highest % … 1st final posting during the game of a player getting 15 possessions and they hadn’t kicked a goal! Goodwin @ B&f saying he could smell a premiership…. Club needs to shut up and let their footy do the talking in both men’s & women’s teams!

How is Essendon getting 10 straight games in Melb & pies having 2 blocks of 5 games in melb are fair draw… when we are playing 3 of the first 5 away & 7 road trips plus 1 in Alice of our own dumb doing

Afl world will come at us if it’s a straight sets exit, in particular pies supporters calling us chokers etc … Concerning is when you see our club listing a Dees player Liv having 15 possession in a final which we got flogged in & before the game was even finished! Celebrating the McCallen cup why? Posting the highest % by the team why? Maybe this goes to the core of our culture?

It’s a recognition of both teams for the season excluding finals… unfortunately other supporters in particular pies ones will always reference the straight sets exit and water down this.. they continue to call our premiership the covid cup , yet our dominance across the 3 finals & playing on neutral grounds & zero home ground advantage is passed over vs them who didn’t leave Melbourne sill for the last 5 games of the season, one can only imagine if the lions win the flag and had the same fixture

More frustration than anything .. overall recruiting has been great yielding us premiership defence & late pics turned into gems…BB lasted 1/2 a season before succumbing to knee issues….our last recognised gun forward was Neitz who retired in 08 .. Hogan could have been the one but… not sure why we can’t find them

Issue we have Petty & Melksham both injured & the latter want be back until late in the season, Tmac & BB it’s gone passed them & if they can get on the ground, so what’s left Shache… that’s right he was better than Grundy …. either we’re just not a destination clubs or our recruiting & coaches are asleep at the wheel

Liam Henry to the saints …. We are so proactive in reinvigorating the list with thus far a ruckman who couldn’t get a game at the lions…. What’s their strategy … Cleary front half issues yet virtually zero trades ….

If people are thinking that Tmac who can hardly turn, BB who’s knee is shot, Melksham who want play until end of season with knee reco, Petty wit foot issue.. enough said

Somehow pies are adding to their fwd line stocks with talent eg schaultz yet what we doing hoping that our injury riddled fwds of BB, Tmac, Petty , Melksham .. I’d be surprised if any get on the park & backed up with young Jvr .. Fullerton who can’t get a game at the lions will get us through honestly we have our heads buried in the sand

Great apart from our draft improvements ti get young talent our Fwd solution working wonderfully unbelievable… another trade period of achieving sweet f@@@ all to improve our list..looking at the other top 4 teams what they brought in over the last 2-3 trades to improve what have we done since our flag in 21 ?? Expecting Tmac & BB to be our key fwds

Agree with Oliver & Petty.. I’d like the club to comment on the whole Grundy disaster in particular Goodwin 360 in him & what went wrong …will be egg on his face if Grundy succeeds at the Swans even more so if they happen to win a flag!

Agree our trades prior to 2021 flag were great but last 2 seasons have bee misses , let’s hope 2023 brings in talent

My question was around trades on ready made talent eg pies brought bobby hill, mcstay , lions got Dunkley etc ours have been disastrous

2 drafts since the 21 flag, which trade deals have improved our list? 2021- Dunstan x 5 games retired 2022- Grundy gone, Schache x 2 games , Hunter only player getting a regular game… How has our list improved comparing this to Collingwood & Brisbane??

It’s amazing his both Tmac & BB are on our list, With continued injuries, respect they are premiership players but what can they add in our shrinking window.. what’s even more concerning if we don’t end up drafting an establish fwd whilst watching the filth get Shultz

What’s our status of drafting atm on a fwd as to date not hearing much with all of our talls with ongoing injury issues.. all we have done is strengthened the Swans with Grundy & Jordan & they also got Adams, Harmes is gone also …who are our back up mids as we have Gus with concussion issues & a well documented other one, understanding they have cleared a fair bit of cap space. With our fwd line consisting of brown, t Mac & petty all with injuries… let’s hope something is done
