What I want to see continue is Bedford building a body of work in the role he played Thursday night. He absolutely deserves to retain his spot and could be an important component of the team in this years flag tilt. The other thing is to play Weideman in kahoots with Dogga whilst Maxy' recuperating. Who knows but this could be the circuit breaker role that elevates Weed to the contributor that we've been crying out for. I thought he was far from disgraced as the second ruck against the Lions.

To be fair, the Dusty chopsticks incident didn't compromise the integrity of Dusty, Richmond or the AFL so,clearly, no investigation was warranted !!

I was at the ground today and I sat myself behind the Melbourne goals in the final quarter. The kangaroo defenders were taking it in turns to block Max out of marking contests and after succeeding 3 times the umpires penalised them the 4th time. Gross cheating by North who could do nothing else

And you wouldn't be the only one who wants a young fit Allen Jakovich roaming around our forward line, giving it to opposition defenders Sydee. !!!! The most fun I had watching the dees play back in those days was watching Jakovich kicking goals just for fun !!

I've got all sorts of respect for ANB. He is one of the un acknowledged leaders in this team and if his attitude and behaviours rub off on some of the younger guys, that's a massive plus for us !!!! He doesn't always set the stats sheets on fire, but his value is measured not just in kicks, handballs and tackles.

Agree with this especially since the ball's flying straight over Hurn's head straight through the goals in most of those games with little input from him.

Bowey does as much running as the team needs him to do but I would be reluctant to put him on a wing. He is so effective on a back flank and so tidy with the ball that he has to stay there. If any are vulnerable to losing their spot when Salem returns ( and this is a stretch ) it would be Jordan or Rivers. Even Jordan hasn't done anything this season that would have people calling for his scalp. Tough times ahead for selectors !!

What I want to see this week more than anything else is Wet Toast being kept to 3-4 goals max. whilst we rack up 18-20 ourselves . We need to boost the % to the max while we have the chance !!!
