  1. He won't
  2. Suffice it to say Petracca would waltz into any team in the AFL and he's entrenched as a top 5 player in the league ( probably 1 or 2 ) The only areas I'd like to see improvement in him is set shots from 25- 35 metres and working on those skin folds !!
  3. They've put it out there. They've got Viney covered Isn't that good enough for you ?? If Carlton fans say it, then it must be true !!!!!!
  4. I would like to see Smith play early which is not to criticise Bowey or Rivers. I just feel we have only scratched the surface with him and he has a lot to offer the team in terms of intercept marking, run out of the backline and he's a decent kick
  5. I've got both a salt AND pepper Grindr !!!! How lucky am I ???
  6. We’ve got, comfortably 5 ‘ leaders ‘ on the field at any moment in this team… and not just the ones that stick out like a sore thumb. Look at Sparrow getting between Viney and a couple of Cats players and easing him out of the danger zone in the Preliminary final or Neal Bullen coming into a group of celebrating forwards after the second goal of the last quarter in the Grand Final, telling them to focus. That’s where leadership is appearing in our team now!!!
  7. I will put a pineapple on that too. It’s the least I can do
  8. Can’t possibly nominate just one Liam Jurrah or Alan Jakovich Both absolutely mesmerising for opposition defenders whilst for us fans, utterly unforgettable when they turned it on ( which was just about every week)
  9. My only query on Goodwin is ' Is he the coach who can help us regain the mantle of the team which guards space the best in the league? In the horror years, that was the only thing us supporters could cling onto.
  10. ' Take a pair of sparkling eyes take a pair of ruby lips take a sparkling Porphyry Pearl ' mmmm delish but my alcohol of choice in the early days was, sadly, Brandivino.
  11. Sounds like some desperado from the Wild West A gun slinger with a bounty on his head !!
  12. I watched The Matrix for about 10 minutes before I thought to myself WTAF ??? and turned it off, so your analogy is somewhat lost on me.
  13. Ok, I'll be the first to ask the important question Who's training the house down ?????
  14. I'm looking at Christian Petracca. Get those skin folds down. Show us he's serious about taking the next step!!
  15. Very considerate of De Goey to sacrifice his salary. Always putting the team first !!!!
  16. Collingwood could be the smoky next year. New coach, new game plan, determined to show they're better than their 2021 season and most importantly of all, a fit and focussed DeGoey determined to rise to the next level Beware the Pies !!
  17. The thing I remember in particular about Richmond in 2017 was the excellent run they had with injuries, similar to us this year. What stamps us as different to the Tigers I reckon is that I believe you could comfortably name 5 leaders amongst our team this year. Players who lead by example with their form, their steely focus and their willingness to put the team first and protect and guide teammates. And I'm including Tom Sparrow and Alex Neal Bullen in that description for actions in the prelim and the granny. Maybe Richmond had a number of them as well, I don't know, but what I do know is that quality is the bedrock of this team and it could well get us two more flags with this group.
  18. Does he bring you a glass of wine 🍷 whilst you're watching it too ??? That would be the cherry 🍒 on top !! If yes, he's a keeper !
  19. Mitchell is putting more noses out of joint than Leigh Matthews or Damian Monkhorst in their heydays !! Keep up the good work Mitch !!
  20. Still it was nice that Scott was able to help Dangerfield achieve his dream.................. of being closer to his family.
  21. If the Cats start getting belted regularly at Kardinia Park, the State governments $ 120 + million investment into the ground is going to look like an ordinary idea.
  22. And loses a bit of weight !!
  23. He was sniffing around in the Bulldogs goalsquare when Johanisen took his mark. I thought " what the hell is he doing down there " ???
  24. " Mark Neeld said he wanted the Dees to be the hardest team to play against. We have finally achieved that. Get amongst it !!! "
  25. I have lived two of the most painful days of my life (. 1988 and 2000 ) This won't end like those.
