For what it's worth, the AFL will allow Jab to keep the Brownlow. The AFL's own protocols only disallow the winning of a Brownlow if a player was reported and suspended in that season. As Jab wasn't suspended, he holds onto the Brownlow. Who cares what some overseas body says, they're dealing with the AFL. On this dung hill, the AFL carry more weight.

I joined in in a tender moment by the crowd as we booed the Hawks from the field at half time. Right in front of the Hawthorn cheer squad which wasn't so much cheering the Hawks as sitting there mute. I called one of the maggots a criminal when he ignored a blatant free which should have gone Footscrays way and suggested at one point that they give Hodge a whistle. The Hawks fans around me didn't like my comment that Hill will enjoy Perth after his stuff up gifted the doggies a goal. I discovered today that my Hawthorn supporting doctor had been sitting behind me listening to my running commentary and he seemed a bit cool when taking my blood pressure. He will get over it eventually. I will probably get over the smugness and the arrogance of the average Hawks fan during these last several years but it might take somewhat longer. Right now I'm enjoying the derailment of the Hawthorn juggernaut like all right thinking footy fans will be. Let's hope the report of the death of the Hawthorn Football club has not been exaggerated.
