  2. Not necessarily anti Garland, Jetta must come back in, Port have some tall strong forwards, Garland does not play tall, so Frost comes in.
  3. IN:- Spencer, Jetta, Trengove, Frost Out:- Oliver - (corkie-rest) OMac, Kent, Garland Spencer 1st ruck - Gawn to FF- Hogan CHF
  4. I recommend tackling an arm not the body, and pull it down and back if possible, may cause a few dislocations but will not give a free kick. This is for the duckers of the world. You asked for it. Edit:- I have had a few shoulder dislocations and believe me I would rather a hit to the head any day. (Open to smart comments now...)
  5. I would argue both at their best are better than Hurley, but that is merely my opinion. Could add Daniel Cross. Not to mention Peter Moore and Kelvin Templeton, joking.
  6. So by your logic, if VW sack it's entire management team then that should be the end of the issue with the 800,000 illegal vehicles that they have sold worldwide. The EFC is a legal entity, the management are employees of that entity. The employees have received various forms of punishment but the EFC has only received collateral penalties other than penalties over the governance issues. The legal entity that is the EFC has received no punishment for allowing 34 players to take part in an experimental illegal (WADA) possibly dangerous drug cheating program. That the EFC did not put in place measures to ensure this would not happen indicates the willingness of the club at all levels to win whatever it costs. The EFC has not received any direct punishment since the 34 were found guilty of cheating. Shuffling deck chairs is not punishment. On another note, the AFL should appoint an independent panel to manage the legal payouts to the 34 with no input from any club or the AFL. Players should be paid out regardless current status, playing, retired or at an another club. A matrix should be created, games played, b&f rating, age, contact status in 2012 etc. The EFC should not be made aware of individual payments just the total for all players.
  7. We do not currently have a good forward/second ruck. Frost, Dawes & Pederen are not good enough. Spencer as a forward is not that far behind but is far superior in the ruck. Max get tired and needs help. I think at this point in time Spencer is a better option. Edit: As a forward/second ruck Spencer would put the wind up most sides with his aggression and size, it may force other sides into playing 2 monsters against us. We should try it for a few weeks if only to give Max a break.
  8. Sounds funny but makes sense. I'm spending far too much time on here!

  10. More reason to play Spencer, The Pedo/Dawes/Frost experiment does not work. Gawn & Spencer has worked, time to give it another try.
  11. Yes. Spencer and Max play. Pedersen (Dawes - Frost) out. Spence offers much more in the ruck, is more aggressive around the ball and as a deep forward must be manned up, allows Hogan to play CHF. Its not like Pedereson-Frost have been on fire as a KPF. Gawn has 7 goals Frost 4 Pedersen 5. 12. Diamond defence of topaz tokenism, good when it works. Apologies to Mr Tilbrook. Beeb we could reverse it and have the forwards rush in. The forward diamond when big Max takes a rest.
  13. Against Brisbane I'd be happy to have Spencer 1st ruck with Gawn at FF and Hogan CHF - No Pedo or Frost or Dawes. Imagine Gawn against their second ruck!
  14. Gawn & Spencer can & has worked. Some want to exclude the Geelong match, why? It can work, give it another go.
  15. Yes. Maybe not every week but regularly to look after Gawny. I also agree that with his new found confidence he will be a better forward.
  16. Diamond defence of topaz tokenism, good when it works. Apologies to Mr Tilbrook.
  17. Still wish she would teach the Hulk to kick.
  18. Moonie, I have asked in several ways and you have chosen to ignore, one last try. Why not Frost? Now don't roll out the not in form, is Garland in form? Pedersen, Dawes, OMac & Frost can all play back, do you think Garland was a better option?
  19. How could I forget Fred, 18 goals 1 point in his last match, should have dragged him for that point, hope it wasn't his first kick.
  20. Exactly BS or Exactly they won't pick Spencer?
