  1. "I’m out of contract so there’s no pressure on me. To perform or anything, like that but it’s in the back of my head. And you think! About your contract?" Reminds me of. . . What is this thing called love?
  2. Yes, but they are his words. It is after all a transcript of a quote. So perhaps... "I’m out of contract?. . . so, there’s no pressure on me to perform. . . or anything like that, but it’s in the back of my head, and . . . you think about your contract." Edit: Semantics will drive us all crazy.

  4. Got me. I didn't notice the misspelling. I am such a Richard.
  5. He may have said this. "I’m out of contract. So, there’s no pressure on me. . . to perform. . . or anything like that, but it’s in the back of my head, and . . . you think about your contract." Punctuation makes a difference. Specially when I get it wrong.
  6. My point exactly. Edit: Roos and co playing the long game?

  8. Long flight/flights Gold Coast to Perth, wouldn't want to be doing that or similar every other week. I think Jessie would be quite aware that long flights and long careers don't go hand in hand. Perhaps letting him go home this week is wise. Don't worry, it doesn't help. I think he will stay.
  9. As Bullit says 'enabled' may have been a better choice.
  10. Highlight the text in the article, copy and paste in Demonland, you can then edit out if you like. The link is automatically included.
  11. AFL season 2016: Who'll win the trading game? "Melbourne won't be sweating too much, right now. The Demons had played a big part in a lot of drafts when they decided to send their first-round pick this year to the Gold Coast, in a deal that allowed them to keep Clayton Oliver from Essendon. They got a second top 10 pick from the Giants, and grabbed another key forward (Sam Weideman) to tuck away for future use. They knew they had enough good young kids. They backed themselves in to improve, to move up the ladder, to have no regrets. So far, so good."
  12. I read that too and wondered what she was trying to say. Perhaps, Melbourne in a master stroke of trading, swapped picks in order to get future champion Clayton Oliver before evil Essendon.
  13. Brun = Brown. Brunet may be more accurate. Tonsorial, nice choice. Any discussion of hirsuteness makes me envious.
  14. On that subject, I noticed Mitch Clark is 2 - 4 week away. Edit- And another thing. Geelong have 8 players on the injured list, they are all knee and below the knee.
  15. Wrong, it was a Motorola, yes the brick!
  16. OK but they are still 41 in front of the next best.
  17. I was watching the replay last night and my wife asked who Oliver was. I said he will be remembered as the greatest player to have ever played the game. My son who always picks me up when I exaggerate was silent. And that is a first. I told her about a fat kid from the bush that last year could not train and didn't think he would get a game in his local side but kept trying. I said remember the name Clayton Oliver Superstar! And I never exaggerate.
  18. OK, ah, um, well, ah, mmm, mm that is interesting isn't it? No, sorry no explanation for that, unless the Doggies have been better trained to play for frees.
  19. We could try playing Frost in defence.
  20. I boarded a plan in Hanoi at half time. I had been watching the odds tumble in our favour and I mean tumble. Arrived in Ho Chi Minh & couldn't believe the score. I then watched the highlights on AFL.com Happy days. Gawn is driving our renaissance, if we lose him we are in trouble. Go Deeeeees!
  21. In my defence, http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=sentance sentance The improper spelling of sentence by a high strung person, normally a Republican. OK, I was wrong, I even over rode the spell checker. Thanks Stuie
  22. Is that enough to form a secret society? Were you before Spike & Boof?
