Geelong Hawthorn West Coast Port Adelaide Fremantle Melbourne Sydney Kangaroos Collingwood Brisbane Adelaide St Kilda Carlton Richmond Essendon Bulldogs essendon or bulldogs down the bottom wouldnt surprise me...or richmond again. collingwood will struggle, im not sure if they'll miss the 8, but i reckon the interstate sides will pip them. they have had too big losses (clement is a massive blow to them) carton are still crap, but the addition of judd and the return of stevens... st kilda will slide with their losses. we will do well but wont win enough interstate to finish any higher...

but why try to make a mountain out of a mole hill and spread rumours? why say sex scandal when you clearly know what the issue was? maybe my words were harsh or blunt, but beemas post was not required was it?

if you search for dean bailey using the boards search feature, you will probably find a thread where this has already been discussed. maybe you could do that, and add your thoughts to a current thread, instead of contributing nothing in a new thread.

id take it tho. in a heart beat.

hey PJ has a lovely kick jaded. i havnt seen him have long shots, but he drops it nice, and follows right thru. i cant see why he couldnt kick 50-60 metres. if he marks inside 50 range shouldnt be a problem. and regarding the marking, yes its a problem. but sould we decide thats the way he's gonna go, is there something that can be done about that? can we teach him how to use his body strength? he wont learn in regular drills, but perhaps a bit of 1 on 1 work? even miller v PJ for 20 minutes after every session...get them both practice...

why? thats a stupid thing to do.

THE TRADING CHRONICLES 2007: ZERO HOUR
deanox replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
no. keep trapper unless its a high pick. he is worth more to us than that. unless of course there is something we obviously dont know about. regarding meesan, they can have the 3rd or nothing. we will take him in the psd. -
interesting tho. he has come, had fun, won a premiership, made his money, and now he is going back home...im not having a go at him. i think its great. growing up he never would have planned to play sport for a living, given that it is amateur in ireland, but he has managed to make a fortune out of it...i hope he has managed his finances well, he is one of the lucky few who get access to that sort of income...

i might sound a bit daft here, but im quite sure what your trying to say lol

hope they dont trade their first round so we can trade that for tj...

LETS LOAD UP ON TOP PICKS AND GET THIS DYNASTY UNDER WAY!
deanox replied to Yze_Magic's topic in Melbourne Demons
ok having read it i am pretty happy. im not sure about the draft picks. if there is tall talent available i would like to see us get some. good talls dont grow on trees, and they are the key to a flag (look at bulldogs, no talls). geelong had mooney, ablett, scarlett etc. all quality. it helps. but im very happy with the premise. green, is one id rather keep (before TJ and bruce etc) but if he is the one that has to go for our long term gain, so be. at least i wont have to hear about his soccer background every week... -

TRAVIS JOHNSTONE - WHY WHY WHY???
deanox replied to Jonesy is the next captain's topic in Melbourne Demons
because our future is the under 23s. everyone realises now that we cant win a flag with the current list. since the draft sanctions of a few years ago, we have a massive hole in our list. we do have a great core of under 23s. by drafting TJ and other older players for youth or draft picks, we have a chance of having a fantastic team in 3-4 years, with the current group of 23 years at the prime of their career and the youngest (this and next years draftees) starting to play exciting footy, like bthe current u23s have been the past 2 years... -
good point redleg. people may not agree with some decision gutnick made, but he saved us from a merger, and we should be thankful for that. he has earned a place in our history. if only more of the mfc supporters who were in his position were willing to tip in the club would be in a much better state.

Rugby Jumper application to AFL (do we get in 1st?)
deanox replied to DemonTux's topic in Melbourne Demons
apparently the jumper technology didnt teach Stirling to kick... -
you just confirmed my earlier post. the mfc will have a good year on field. because of this, yze will have a great year. yze's good year will be because we are having a good year, not the other way round. he is a symptom not a cause.

Rugby Jumper application to AFL (do we get in 1st?)
deanox replied to DemonTux's topic in Melbourne Demons
the jumpers the wallabies are using are actually made of a material which ionizes the skin with a negative charge. this charge then filters back to within the body. apparently blood is drawn towards it meaning that blood flow to the capillaries is increased, and it is shown to give up to 4% increase (i believe). more than just slippery material. -
wow. i wonder if its like the alister lynch deal where he gets 4 years at a reduced raet? that will suit the swans fine, and might make him easy to trade later on (if he's on no salary)...
-
goodvibes, you have to agree all the time (ie you can never just be traded without accepting) don't you? otherwise we could trade bruce this year...
-
i think next year will be his last. he didnt retire because he has one more year left on his contract, and he would be studpid to pass up 400K because he might have to where stripes for most of the year. i am happy for him to prove me wrong, and if we have a successful year i think he will prove me wrong. he is a front runner, and if the rest of the team lifts he is bound to look great. his supporters will be calling for the heads of those who have criticised him claiming they knew all along. but if we struggle like this year he will play out the year for sandy, because he cant lift.
-
""We are interested in Josh. He's the poor player that has been bandied around and he signed a new contract earlier this year and he may not necessarily want to come home." from the above article. if he has already signed a contract this year,, cant he not be traded?

i didn't know it so i looked it up, i realised the typo but you can be forgiven. good word anyway, i'll try and remember it...

i think there is a requirement on having to have started a minimum number of threads before you can participate in this sort of thing beeema...oh wait i just checked, you got there! haha only joking mate. im not sure what its like in these games but if you live near by you'd prob get a bit of a run, or could at least hep out somehow?
