  1. Oliver sat on the bench a lot. The Aish tag is overrated, as Oliver was benched for 10 minutes after his great start, then benched again later on for a more than usual amount of time. When Oliver was up and about could Aish have stopped him? No.
  2. Oliver Daylight Jordon Viney Pickett
  3. Dunstan is just limited in general. No foot skills, no urgency, and not much pace. He is exactly what we do not need. I watched him in the VFL and was surprised he got a call up. He just doesn’t add anything to our side. Harmes will be a big IN when he comes back.
  4. We haven’t been playing good footy. The Saints win was good but most the other games were ordinary. We sit a game clear with the bye coming up and players coming back in. We are in a great position.
  5. Disagree. He pushed the game but was unlucky to find opposition players when he cleared the ball. Oliver was becoming a problem for Freo but for some reason we benched him, and for 10 minutes. By then Freo had halted momentum. It was one of the most baffling coaching decision I have ever seen. I said to my old man “Oliver is pushing the play if we drag him Freo will take control”.
  6. Fremantle are actually one of the poorer sides we’ve played this year. We have just stopped playing. Way too many passengers.
  7. Aghh. Not so easy now Simon. Sitting Oliver on the pine after his start to the game, losing momentum, then doing the same thing again. [censored].
  8. Gee they really have a field day when Oliver is off.
  9. Looking like a really bad move to take Oliver off midway through the second quarter. He was really pushing the game for us. It halted our momentum. So frustrating to see this now.
  10. We stopped playing when they taken the red hand off. Silly.
  11. Sums up where the game is at
  12. Warner kicked it away into the crowd after prestia had a shot to take. I struggle to see any other call than a 50m penalty
  13. We wouldn’t have a broken forward line connection. Weideman currently plays alongside JVR and they work well. He also works well playing alongside Brown in the VFL. He knows those around him. Bringing in someone else, they’d have to learn that. If we sign him on at the end of next year, and providing he isn’t getting a regular game, he’d be on a low wage. I like Sam as a player, and I believe he will get better as he matures. We pretty much lose nothing keeping him. If we do lose Jackson in the next year or so, Weideman is also a handy chop out for the ruck - if need be. Bloke is versatile. I still believe he will be a player for us.
  14. TMAC will inevitably slow after 2023 and Sam will have a great opportunity to come through with a fantastic young group. He is smart for re-signing with us. It’s not just about the group we have now, but the group we will have 2-3 years down the track. Weideman is 24. That is still young. He can bide his time in the VFL, and shall an opportunity present - he will be capable of stepping in. Worse case for him, he bides his time, and comes through with the next group of players in a couple years time.
  15. Would’ve fitted in well at Essendon this year.
  16. Gus stays down back. Jordon on the wing frees up a midfield spot - which Harmes fills, and also means a less rotation for Viney, Petracca and Oliver. So that’s good. We had a mid too many in there. Gus down back helps our backline sync up better with our wings, which will only help Salem and Bowey. The more we get different lines working in sync the smoother our transition into the forward line is.Hopefully translating to more goals which means more wins
  17. He used to play for Campbelltown before he came across to Vic Country juniors as a kid. I think Campbelltown would fall in GWS zoned area. Not sure. I know he lived in the place as a kid so not surprised he wants to head back there.
  18. Good comparison. I see a lot of Schwarz in JVR. It’s the nuance in their movement - the small things I see. It’s really impressive. I think JVR is the next big thing, and he’s ours, and the league doesn’t even know it. It’s scary to think we could go back to back, and also have the best youth coming through. Nightmare for a list manager but good problem to have

An improving footballer. Brayshaw and Viney both overcome obstacles early in their career and had to adapt their playing styles. Was great to see them able to do so but has served them well. Viney is hard headed but more versatile than people realize. He is the best 3rd man to have in that midfield, and when either of the 3 rest, they are replaced by Harmes, who is just completely underrated as a footballer, by everyone. There are so many factors as to why we are a great side. Viney will get better I think.
  20. Yep. They aren’t in a position to get Jackson. They need to rebuild. Shelling up quality picks for Jackson would just leave them with a young gun ruck and nothing to surround him with. That isn’t smart trading. They would know this. Doesn’t mean they still won’t do the smart thing. It’s west coast. They have been extremely poor in long term list management.
  21. Viney petracca brayshaw may chandler
  22. Great tackle there by Chandler.
  23. Good first quarter.

Absolute gun. I’d give up a second rounder for him. Maybe even sweeten that somehow. Hill Is very good.
  25. Yeah. He sees things in black and white. Like most borderlines do. Anyone trying to understand Harry O will soon learn that he cannot understand himself. Bloke is mentally ill and needs proper therapy and help. I say that as someone who doesn’t particular like Eddie, and who believes Buckley is a micro manager. I do hope Harry O stuffs up enough to be held accountable by the law, as it’s tne only tool provided by society where he may need to curb his behaviour. Social media is a borderlines paradise, gives them the perfect platform to gratify their need for attention, and penchant for chaos, but, given enough rope, and they soon hang themselves,
