Just throwing it out there, but trade week/period could be the slowest most boring time in football. next year condense it down to three days total and watch the trades fly! Don't the AFL know this is for our entertainment.

If the AFL don't strip Watson of the 2012 Brownlow then they may as well just throw out all the WADA drug code, recreational drug policies and any other performance enhancement regulations they 'adpot'. Whats the point of it being there if your just going to pick and choose what parts you enforce.

How about just letting the "issue" sort its self out. Where Hawthorne is at as a club has been built up over 10- 15years. In the early 2000's no one would go there, the club was a basket case. So they built up by the draft and developed a competitive and ultimately successful team. only after their initial success did players from other clubs want to go there. Geelong was the same. bulldogs are going to become that, same with GWS We're on that same path. We're developing a list, success will come. When we're a successful club, players will be nominating us and our own players will choose to stay for less coin because of success. all the crap about how can they afford players is just social media noise, I'm sure the hawks would welcome the AFL integrity unit to go over the books.

Going through these comments I'm stumped at the posts outlining all the 'glaring problems'with Casey. did people miss the fact that they just played in a grand final and were the minor premiers? Clearly they've got something right going on down there. they were beaten on the day simple as that. rather than jumping on (and off) the Scorpions bandwagon just stick to the usual crap you dish out about the demons and don't pretend you come down to casey every week and know what's going on there.
