  1. No. FWIW, we had nowhere near our best side in for Rd 22. Says volumes about Carlton.
  2. Hmmm..... CJ to Perth....Miller to Qld......Hell, I did not believe that the draft was a family repatriation system with no focus on actually working out whether CJ or Miller would provide anything to the interstate club. Brisbane and WCE would have to have rocks in their heads to do that deal. Plain dumb. Armas is ripping it up in WAFL. Made it big time. A case of right team at the right time. He should send a Xmas card each year to Ashley Sampi saying thank you for imploding your career.
  3. He has been flapping his gums in the media all year on a range of topics when he should be focussing on on field contributions. If he loves the club..... And he is red and blue thru and thru! <_<
  4. I would say that would apply to sources and "sauces" in general.
  5. Was he also trumping for Brett Ratten for the MFC coaching role four weeks ago?
  6. Critics of getting Judd have said he is not the panacea to all our problems. Well great, heads back in the sand fellas. He wont be. But FCS, he will be a player a pure skill and class that can and does deliver in the midfield. He'll make TJ look like Nick Pesch. For a Clu that has lacked a star for years and needs a star, it no wonder some supporters cant see what he would bring. However if the process gets into a pi$$ing war on money we will struggle against the giants. The Age has reported it wont be solely bound by money. Great we are a chance. There is one issue and an important one......he needs to clear a detailed medical assessment to ensure he is OP free. The Club should be pursuing this with regard to above.
  7. Congratulations Kangas on the win last night. Defintely showed plenty of media labelled spirit!!!
  8. That has not been suggested by anyone. It would be part of the deal. If Judd was cleared fit (no OP) and if Judd was affordable by the Club then it is possible.
  9. The only difference b/w Trav and Judd is daylight. You know what I have wanted TJ to have a strong pre-season for 9 seasons........still waiting.
  10. Quite correct Graz about Sydney and the price is right for TJ.
  11. Absolutrely agree. At the start of the year I had Collingw&%$ in the bottom three (with Kangas ). I hate the club and their supporters but full credit to them for reaching a prelim final. Great effort last night. Probably wont get past the Cats but FCS its a great effort and they have unearthed some very good young players. Saying there in the prelim final by default is sour grapes. IMO, given the culture at the WCE towards drugs and the AFL they deserve to fall out the way they did in front of their home crowd. As a club they have been shameful this year.
  12. When he's fit not injured....28.... and the "old" wheels. Too mucb living on memories with no focus for the future
  13. Really. I'll wish you likewise o sage one.
  14. Mentoring, Training facilities, fitness advisers, personal and leadership training, multiple coaching resources, technology, psychological and medical support facilities etc etc
  15. I 'd compare him to our first tier actually. The more you think about it......Yep your right.....Daniher had all these resources at his fingertips that WCE had.... yep you are onto a hot one!
  16. So did it Rocket actually say that to you or do you anjoy name dropping to give your opinion substance? Its between the ears. Hell that inflicts 95% of AFL footballers
  17. You said when Bailey looks at the list he sees run and carry. A gameplan is something you apply to a group of player not identify it as an attribute of the list. If Bailey does seek to actually apply that gameplan I'll call him and make sure he explains it to you first.
  18. If he does he's a twit. Run and carry is a strategy not a list atttribute. I wonder if they have made the link of run and carry with global warming yet.
  19. I'd offer Ferguson, Miller, Pettard's busted lung plus pick 86 for Judd, Embley and their second round pick...... That's fair
  20. A little education. A coach looks at his list and designs a gameplan. He does not design a game plan then look at his list. Why is the the game plan as it is and why is it a problem.......its the list. WB are crying out for effective big men. They dont have them...Mc Dougall....Doh!! WCE play a run and carry game plan and they have the follow big blokes.....Cox, Seaby, Staker, Lynch and Hansen....Huh! McDougall was at WCE wasnt he? Maybe he is not good enough
  21. So after they run and handball where do they kick it to?......a small forward. Why do they kick to a small forward?..........They have to because they dont have a tall forward. But they have MCdougall dont they?............ Bulldogs are forced to play the way they do because of their list. Their running goals (when they get them) are a consequence of not being able to penetrate the F50 with a marking option. The Bulldogs game plan is crap and every side is onto them and exploits their weaknesses. They need tall capable forwards. They recruit Rawlings and McDougall to do that. And you know what? Neither have been any good. It would not make any sense to recruit tall players and then say they do not suit the game plan. Why would you recruit them? Eade is forced now to trade to get marking options and KPP players both back and forward. Otherwise they will be cellar dwellers next year.
