Lawrie de la Rue is an absolute legend, he's put as much of his heart, soul and livelihood into sustaining this club as anyone else. I'm absolutely staggered the club didn't look after him.

If a bunch of dumb footballers could figure out there's something seriously rotten with the football department, then maybe all the blame shouldn't be levelled at the players. It's becoming increasing obvious the management and coaching of this club are a complete shambles.

It's a two way street - they have to play for him and he has to give them a method to 'play for him'. He hasn't died, he was on 300K+ a year. I was a huge Bailey fan until this year, but he wasn't fulfilling every criteria in his extremely important and high-paying job, so he no longer has it.

We put in 5 million dollars, plus our millions of dollars every year through membership. They've had four years to put a game plan into place. James Hird managed it in 5 months. Get stuffed MFC coaches, you are all shite. We don't even have a director of coaching, no surprises there.

The thing that makes me sick in all of this was all the people slagging off Danners when he finally got the chop, and the amount of spin we've had to put up with for four years. All our coaches are [censored], and our senior players like Sylvia and Moloney are actually decent B grade players and would be playing better with Junior by their side and a different coach. THe only footy players I like at this club anymore are Jordie and Rohan Bail. We are at our lowest ebb since 2008.

If he has a bung knee I'm quite happy to get two first round picks for him.

Not by a long shot. The kid played about two and a half quarters of solid footy and got 24 touches and 3 goals. I'm excited. Absolute silk.
