Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
chook fowler replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
We could donate a few spuds. -
Could be worth a look. All our recruiting focus seems biased towards midfielders however we desperately need forwards, tall and small.
-
Hird may be looking for a job. Water boy perhaps! Also the toilets need a good clean - wait, Tanya can do that.

The AFL will have to be careful about not being seen to reward or excuse illegal activities -

Would have cost the Golden Boy a pretty penny. Would love to see the look on the face of his missus. -

Bet Goodwins glad he's gone from there. -
Would really like to retain Trengove and Toumpas. See little point in getting rid of them at this stage. Plenty of upside also with Salem, Kent, Michie, JKH and Riley. I think Viney also played injured for most of the year. Add that lot to Jones, Vince, Tyson and Cross I think we have the basis of an A grade midfield. No need for rash decisions.

Goodwin is a midfield specialist so will be very good for our young group. He and Stone will really shape something special with the on ballers
-
Might be better getting ROK or Sewell for 12 months for next to nothing as a mentor to our young mids and use picks 2 & 3 on Petracca, Brayshaw or similar.

agree that none of us have any idea about the severity of his depression. However depression is no excuse for his bevioural and attitudinal issues. Depressed people can make poor decisions but mostly their moral compass remains in tact.

After last night I can see why we would be interested in Dangerfield. Intelligent, articulate and a strong character. Has leadership written all over him. That's why I can't see him leaving, at least not this year. And good on him for it.
-
Think his skills are fine, pace is the problem.

No wonder Goodwin didn't want to go into that mess. Looks like Sanderson was white anted. It's going to take some doing to reunite that lot. Wonder what Riccuitos agenda is?
-
Think I will trust Roos and PJs judgement above an attention seeking poster any day.
-
you're right, forgot about that. Always associated him with SA.

The Don - beat that!

Rubbish post.

From the drift I've got on this forum I thought his lifestyle might appeal to you.

At least he doesn't come recommended by Malthouse.

For the life of me can't understand the raps on Chip. Good for us though.
-
the main thing I take away from this appointment is the pulling power of PJ and Roos. They make stuff happen. Think we may see even further evidence of that in the draft period. It sends all the right messages re stability, direction etc. Makes Chips comments about wanting good evidence of direction before signing sound even more disingenuous.

How parochial are these Sth Australians. Athey seem to run their club like a country footy club with a jobs for the boys mentality. Current actions probably fuelled by jealously of Ports success. Hope it all goes pear shaped for them.
