He did win 7 out of 11 in 2015 as caretaker coach. Inherited a fair team no doubt, but the circumstances couldn't have been easy. Certainly a crazy ride, without knowing the details of the review it's hard to say. Potentially collateral damage with a new senior coach coming in.

Under normal circumstances clubs may put together a token trade of very late picks so the player can move prior to preseason training, and the player can do a whole preseason with the new club. However Murray is unable to train with a club until December I believe, so it's pointless to rush it.

He looks like a once in a lifetime player, perhaps the best player the universe will ever see, in any sport. Pick 6 and Jezza Cameron should cover it.
