  1. Can't be accused of tanking when you're ladder spot is locked in. Rest everyone we can, bring in whoever we have left.
  2. He does appear to be too heavy but that wouldn't make him drop simple marks. I reckon it's between the ears, and it won't help dropping him after every game. He should've been played vs Sydney, as the ruckman, with Gawn at FF and chopping out. Would've kept some forward structure, trialled the 2 ruck game plan, and also given Max more experience up forward, not to mention a bit of a rest. It was a no brainer for mine, given Sydney's lack of a genuine ruck. Would've been fantastic to see him up against Aliir Aliir again.
  3. That's rubbish from Hill. 4th round pick and Freo to pay half his salary.
  4. To be fair, I think he had a man crush on Figgy and the Chins.
  5. It's not just this issue, he keeps digging at us, and I'll guarantee this won't be the last bit of niggle. Just on the review, I agree, there is benefit to going external, unless the problems are well known to the club and they have a fix planned. The club have repeatedly said there'll be no external review, but TB keeps pushing it. He should've walked away, but he won't.
  6. Understood.
  7. On another note, how close were we to appointing Fagan as caretaker coach in 2007, instead of Riley?
  8. With all due respect to the Gold Coast Suns and Tony Cochring, if you're delisting a player like Jarryd Lyons, you can't be given a priority pick.
  9. This muppet is seriously [censored] at the MFC isn't he. Every opportunity he has the boots in. #TomBrowneGAGF
  10. Awesome, thanks for that MAT. So things are happening, hopefully we can jag a ripper at some point.
  11. Are you sure? I never heard her blow the whistle. If that's a free kick, then Frosty was seriously shafted twice at then other end that led to 2 Reid goals.
  12. Push in the back, as he kicked, is not downfield.
  13. 4-6 champ, you'll be right.
  14. That is a [censored] disgrace.
  15. I think you're right. I mean what were we expecting with OMac out injured????
  16. Time to re-arrange the sock drawer
  17. Yeah was waiting for it. So all the players we picked are shooting the lights out at Casey? No they aren't, yet they've been picked nonetheless. The options are Preuss and Keilty, obviously. Both massive busts this year (as are the ins we named anyway), yet either of these players would've kept some structure to the team. It really is a no-brainer that one of them had to play. For mine it's Preuss as there's more upside and a relief for Gawn. In fact, Gawn could've played forward and Preuss to ruck in a familiar role, which he is actually smashing at Casey.
  18. Bruce didn't get the Rowbottom nickname initially. Paddlebum. Makes no sense at all does it.
  19. I noticed it live and couldn't believe it. What has happened to this team?
  20. Structure, structure, structure. Must have at least one tall in the forward line. This is incredible to watch, especially when the mids are clearly bombing it long to the non-existant tall.
  21. I know what you're saying, but our position is set in stone. This is a disgrace, completely ignoring basic structure as an AFL head coach.
  22. Yet we beat them earlier in the year.
  23. Does Guinness keep a record for a team spoiling their own teammates?
  24. He's fired up and moving too quick for Max. Wait till the 3rd quarter.
  25. I'm amazed that an AFL level coach doesn't understand the importance of structure. No KPF, unbelievable, even if there's nobody in form. Inexcusable.
