COVID & AFL 2021
Who was it on here suggesting Gladbags was the only state premier with half a brain cell? I found that quite hilarious at the time, as with everything we've seen in other states, it was clear she was just rolling the dice. This was inevitable, if you keep rolling, you'll eventually crap out, and that she has. Now she wants the rest of the nation to cover for her? That's poor form if you ask me, and she should be removed from her position. As should the big guy giving her the directions she's taken. Where's the accountability going to come from?

Dermott Brereton on Bayley Fritsch
If my memory serves me correctly, Fritta's been clocked in the head 3 or 4 times already this season, and they haven't always been paid free kicks. Duhmee must've missed those

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Exactly right. There's no hate for Vines from me, he just isn't right yet. Foot injuries take time to come back from. The only issue with sending to the VFL to find form is there is no VFL at the moment. I'm happy to bring Melksham in as well, but not sure for whom.

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Out: Gold Coast Suns In: Western Bulldogs But in all seriousness, I think Viney needs to find form at Casey now, he's way to far off it. Brayshaw to the guts, bring in Declase on the wing.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
Can someone explain the 50 against Gawn? I thought you were allowed to enter the protected zone if following an opposition player through?

Mac Andrew
It needed to be a better system where a club would need to demonstrate an ongoing commitment and investment to a certain level, into both boys and girls footy in their NGA to be eligible to select those kids. And not purely in a year where they were likely to pick up a star through shear luck. An investment over several years prior to eligibility. I think a well thought out system would've actually been better for footy. Instead the AFL has flubbed it and the northern clubs retain their advantage.

And in that sense, the AFL has always shown consistency.

FIXTURE: Rd 19 vs Gold Coast & Rd 20 vs Bulldogs
It's a $700k question

FIXTURE: Rd 19 vs Gold Coast & Rd 20 vs Bulldogs
Not sure if this has been asked before, but with our contract of one game in NT each season, does the GC game count, and we'll be paid in full as per contract?

How do Bulldogs do it?
My sincere apologies to all

How do Bulldogs do it?
Definitely something in it. Would really rather not having to play them in finals

What they are saying at St Vincent Street
I'm pretty sure we all know how to spell Jordon Jones' name correctly now, even Luke Darcy does.

Football commentary does my head in
BT just tweeted in to say it's actually spelled attitud-[censored]. Well that didn't work did it. Assume there's an A after the dash....

BB made a difference
How that wasn't paid as a push in the back is beyond me.

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
If we didn't get pinged for tackling when they drop the ball, we'd be 6-7 goals up now.

TEAMS: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
Something else people don't realise is, Ben Brown is a 100% game time player. He was down in game time in his first 3 games, despite managing 5 goals and an assist. Clearly wasn't fully right. He saves rotations and keeps the mids fresh. He'll kick at least 5 goals, and we'll run over the top of them big time in the last quarter. Big Bad Bustling Beautiful Ben Brown is BACK!

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
When you lose a game by 9 points, keeping your opponents to 64 points, while you have a multiple 60+ goal a year forward in the VFL after kicking 5 goals the week before, is there any point in reviewing the match? The only review required is into what happened prior to 6:35pm on Thursday evening.

WCE analysis and interesting data for all clubs
Wow, aside from the WCE stuff, it highlights how desperately we need a contested marking beast. We play a game style that really needs contesting marking up forward, and we don't have one.

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 12 vs UWS Giants
- 2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Looking like it's time to go down the 'Jack Darling' path- CASEY DEMONS: Rd 12 vs UWS Giants
In the grand scheme of things, it would now seem to have been a very bizarre year to create this wider competition.- GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs Essendon
I must be seeing things. Tmac's was a mark, Jackson's was a mark, Heppel's wasn't? He even knew it wasn't and played on.- Trade Targets
What size is this fish? Could it be the elusive big fish we've been trying to land for years? We probably need a riddle here.- Round 16/17/18/19 fixtures
