Personally I'd be leaving a slot open for the mid season draft. There'll be more than one good player that slipped through the draft purely due to the circumstances. With half a season under their belt we'll have a better idea on talent.

Just because Treloar is the one on the table doesn't mean he should be the target. Pies cap is a in a massive mess. Take your pick who you want and get in their ear. If he doesn't leave, nobody is getting a pay rise for the next 5 years. The problem for me is who would you go at? Daicos probably the only one for me, and he won't move. What would he be on? Drawing a line through Treloar, how much of his contract would we be prepared to absorb? 500k? Offer that to Daicos and ask him to move. He won't, but it compounds their cap problems.

Is this another rumour? Treloar has had a falling out with DeGoey?
