There's zero reason for him not to nominate Carlton now. I think he wants to come to us but realised it's a longshot with the trade value, so is playing it cool and letting it unfold. We'd need to pull off a Josh Mahoney special to make it happen, so hope the recruiting team had their notepads out when he was around.

This doesn't phase me too much given our recent recruiting strategy. If we like a player in the draft but don't get him, we follow up. As soon as he's first available for trade we swoop. Give Big Mac 2 years elsewhere if they want to trump us, then trade for him. Unlikely to have played AFL footy by then, but with 2 years development under the bonnet.

Its a tough one, because at first point of contact he drops the ball, as all the dogs do, and you're more likely to be pinged for a lingering tackle than winning a HTB call.

Dogs and cats are the 2 most 'looked after' teams in the comp. Cats going through to last 4 is dangerous. If dogs go through as well anything could happen.

100% for sure. Great times. Was the same in Bris. Slamming every Thursday and Friday night to the best music. All of those bands just took music to a whole new level. I'm not sure they've been mentioned yet, still catching up with the thread, but I was a massive Faith No More fan as well.
