And in that time his contested marking improved markedly!

Can we please make sure there's a pair of hair clippers in any contract offer to him.

I think we need an 'Another Clown Selects Carlton' Board

Sorry Pates, I hadn't seen this before I posted. Exactly what I think.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
I may be way off base with this, but going to throw it out there nonetheless. I reckon Covid killed his career. Hear me out. He appeared to get his life back on track, away from footy. From all reports he was on track during the early parts of the season and even post-Covid break. I don't think he's built for the footy club life, and he was able to stay 'outside' of it while in Melbourne, and had his family to get away to. Covid hubs come along and he just can't escape the boys. There's nowhere to hide. Now he's basically forced to watch them have a good time, with a few beers no doubt, and can't get away from it, so he's drawn back into that world. The world that destroyed his career in the first place. Add to that the he basically had nothing to do with no 2nds competition and the outcome was almost inevitable. Like I say, I may be way off base, but I'm prepared to cut him some slack. I wish him all the best for the rest of his life, and I think you'll find, away from footy, he'll be back on track pretty quickly.

I agree, Gil needs to waive the fine. I mean 50 grand, that's enough for an au pair. Won't someone please, think of the children.

Exactly what I was thinking. He fixes a major stat issue we have, frees for inside F50. But then again, would they still pay the frees if he's in red and blue?

Assistant Coaches 2021
I realise previous appointments were probably dictated to by the financial position, but moving forward, can we make success a major part of the hiring criteria?

NON MFC: Round 18

DEEDAY: Dockers vs Bulldogs
Why are the dogs always allowed to throw the ball? Every time I see them it's the same.

NON MFC: Round 18
I disagree, turn it into a money spinner. Let's start celebrity umpiring, with a whole TV reality show. I mean if they refuse to be professional about umpiring, why don't they go the complete reverse? Imagine the possibilities.

How many weeks does Hawkins get for the knee to the head?

DEEDAY: Dockers vs Bulldogs
Am I to understand that the Bulldogs have only just flown into Cairns this morning? That's the way it's supposed to be done isn't it?

NON MFC: Round 18
Never. Young players need finals experience before they know what to prepare for. Even if we go out in the first game it's a positive.

NON MFC: Round 18
Hopefully Swans can knock off the Cats so we play them. They're our finals [censored]!!!

NON MFC: Round 18
First finals series since 2011. Any dwarves in the Brisbane area need to be on high alert tonight. I hope the Moorabbin clan has warned them.

Kick outs
I don't mind the consistency/safety of it, but what is extremely painful is the ignoring of other easy options. Several times each game we'll have an unmarked player straight up the ground and not even consider the option. Team rules are good, but they need to be flexible if other options present.

Jeremy Cameron
We probably have to get him to prove our relevance, because we can't do that on the park.
