Should be Shache back, Fullerton ruck and maybe Kentfield relieving, if that's what the club want him to do. Maybe BBB gets a break?
-
The delay doesn't make sense unless you read Caroline Wilson's article for The Age. The context was, Goody agreed to do an interview after Thursday's match committee meeting. He mentioned to Caro that the committee hadn't made a number of tough selection decisions, and he had told them to sleep on it for 24hrs and they would come together again to discuss. So, it seems it is 24hrs later than they had planned. But given the game is on Monday they had that 24hrs extra.

Reckon it's Petty related. Put him back, and what to do forward. There was some talk in the media earlier in the week that there was a lot of internal debate about Petty, but Goody wanted to keep him forward. Maybe Richo and the other coaches are finally trying to force Goody's hand?

It will be a package, for sure. But I think Dees fans probably weight playing with Max more heavily than others
-
Maybe, but Cameron seems to be a handy fwd option and more than capable of playing 70% fwd. They don't really have a key fwd, and he could do that. Adelaide still have Reilly O'Brien. I'm not sure how old he is, but he's a good ruck too. At the end of the day, Moyle might decide to come here. I just think it's more unlikely than likely
-
Because if you think your ready to go, you don't want to sit in anyone's shadow not even Max's. He's been behind a pretty good ruck already. Max is better, but why wait 2 years if you can get a #1 spot now?
-
I get that, but you don't attract guys who want to be the man by saying we'll play you if the current AA ruck is injured. If you were Ned, who's been developing under Witts and just wants to play, and you had Colingwood saying 'Come be our #1 ruck now' and Melbourne saying 'come be our break glass in case of emergency and then #1 in 2 years' time', where would you go?
-
Yep, especially if he wants to play next year. I can't imagine we could offer heaps more cash than the other teams, and he'll definitely get more game time with the Pies. We'd be better off targeting one of the up and comers at the end of 2026.

So are the Big 4. Dreamtime, ANZAC day, etc. Even King's Birthday draws good number of Dees supporters when it's Collingwood's home game. And Geelong's home games at the G aren't moved there because of the Geelong supporters, it's the other big clubs supporters who would otherwise miss out.

Seems he put on a couple of cms, 2023 stats has him at 194, more recent at 196.
-
Interesting that a knock on him was his speed, but his agility seems quite good. With a bit of forward craft he might make up for a lack of speed
-
Yep, a bit in afl.com.au that they may need to take Teakle. I suppose it's whether they think he'll be available later on
-
Might be worth actually listening to Selwyn, if you haven't. Mentioned they'd ramped Spargo's loads up, he was still sore so they intervened (I'm assuming surgery). Hence the blow out of his time frames

Live ladder has us gaining 6% and sitting 4th
-
Wikipedia says he's kicked 23 in his career, 2 for us
-
The thing for me is that they've decides to bring him in this week, when from all reports he was disinterested and poor at Casey last week
-
From posts on BigFooty, Teakle got pantsed in the SA vs WA state game last week
-
Darcy Moore, Sam Taylor, Isaac Quaynor and Keidean Coleman for me (can you tell I used to play backline?)
-
We look like the bottom 4 team. No effort. Max just pointing at blokes to follow his man into the 50 while he jogs.
-
TMac has said recently in interviews that his ankle and foot injuries have robbed him of the agility needed to play forward, but he can still manage to play back. I don't think we'll see him swing forward anytime soon unless we get injuries in-game
-
You also missed ANB

Good to see Jeffo lay some big tackles. Got his hands to a few marks in the end, would have been nice if he clunked one or two
-
I thought Howes had some good moments, despite being part of a backline that was well beaten in the first. He seems very calm under pressure
