Why stop at 15? 18 would be best.

Potentially our first rising star nod for how long? Was surprised to see him in, but happy for him to stay. Hibbo will need some injuries to occur to get back in. Edit: Rowell is tearing WC up. 18 disposals an 2 goals to 3 qtr time... Rivers may have to wait for his RS nomination

Not fritta, after today. Reckon Tracc would relish the responsibility, now.

No doubt the selectors will overreact, bring OMac in for a small defender and Essendon's smalls will kill us. I'd bring in Weid and Pickett. Either Jackson or TMac can go, don't really mind which. Jackson is raw but will be good, TMac is terrible atm. Nibbler was good when we were playing well. That's the type of player he is. Hunt ditto. Neither will get dropped, but if hesitate to drop Melksham or Jones either. As bad as they were, they are still (generally) good users of the ball going forward (although chunk is losing it, quick). It'll be a similar game to today's. Essendon are missing a few with injury, as were Carlton.

Has anyone seen the post game footage of Harmes with the camera? This is why the sung the song without Max; Harmes was revving them up to sing it as soon as they got in the rooms. Honestly, it's cringe worthy.

I'll be putting ny phone away for 25 mins. Still can't handle the close ones

Ok, they need to kick as many goals in the last as they have all match. We need to kick 2 and we win.

Newman and who?

I'm in Canberra too. I'm listening on the AFL app

Listening to the ABC. Why do they allow Marc Maclure commentate Carlton games? Calling them 'our boys' every time he opens his mouth.

Josh Mahoney on Before the Bounce reported: Weideman And Brown both kicked 5-6 goals AvB and Hannan played the whole game

Interesting that we've gone with essentially 8 backs. Seems to indicate one of them may be involved in midfield rotations, especially as lever doesn't come off the ground.

Hunt in is a surprise, as are Lockhart and OMac out. Happy enough with the other outs.

I agree re: hibberd, but not sure if Smith has done enough to pinch his spot just yet. I'd forgotten about Hore. May be one looking for other opportunities next year
-
I forgot about McGovern. Easy to do, given his year last year. In that case, Hibbo out and OMac in. My selections weren't based on either rewarding form or OMac bashing, simply match ups. If there's only one tall, I'd let May take them and bring in another medium size for run and carry.

It's an interesting conundrum. Blues won't have a particularly tall forward line. No Curnow, McKay (i think), Kreuzer still injured. Not sure who else they have. Do we really need 3 talls down back? If not, then it's May, Lever, Salem, Harmes, Lockhart, Jetta and one of Hibbo/Smith for me. I'd love to see Rivers, but not yet. OMac in if they have 2 talls.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Mickey replied to Tinks's topic in Melbourne Demons
That was post Bali. Not sure how many games he played afterwards (I thought only the one), but not sure if Harley would get the same approval from the league. I may be wrong. -

I'm pretty sure they're not allowed. In lower grades down to knee length is allowed, if they are skin coloured. Ive never seen an AFL player wear longer than that while playing, nor compression socks. -
The write up on the melbournefc website said it was just load management, and they'd be back next session

Here you go. Harley dancing, Weid clunking, vanders running... all good things https://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/700087/training-vision-match-simulation?videoId=700087&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1590523223001 -
You missed the best part of the video in your summary, praha. "Beats Gawn for contested ball, beats Langdon in contested ball, Beats clarry for contested ball".

Mr McGowen has hardly laid out the welcome mat, has he? In her article on the AFL'S response to the Crows training breach, Caro claimed the weak response was due to the fact other clubs had done it too; specifically, two old Melbourne clubs. My first thoughts were Carltank and the Pies. Anyone have any inside info/goss?

Will be interesting to see what happens next year. With the supposed decrease in playing lists, do you keep a 32-33 yr old Jones over a young bloke? I'm not so sure
