Our record the last 27 games (Operation Get Ross Lyon)

What another former coach who may be better second time around, ala Ratten? Voss? -
I wasn't sure if "older" meant senior or just older. Could include Jones, who has school age children, but could also cover Pruess, Hore, Josh Wagner. Maybe Viney doesn't want to move such a young newborn to a hub (and away from family support)? Edit: Melksham another with older kids.
-
I made some suggestions in the Hub thread. My thinking is Neita, Kolo, Hore, Petty, Bradtke, both Wagners, Dunkley, Baker will stay. Preuss, Sparrow, Jordon and Chandler make 13, so one will probably come with the team. Will be interesting if any older players stay. Goodwin said families were coming, but I wonder if Jones would really want to bring his school age children for longer than 2 weeks.

Less than the MFC is asking to stay an unassisted club.
-
Seems we are taking 33 players to the hub (according to Goodwin). Who misses out? Neita, Kolo, Petty, Hore the obvious ones. Bradtke another, perhaps along with Jordon and Dunkley. Both Wagners, Pruess? Another 3 to miss. Edit: Chandler, Baker, maybe Sparrow the other three?

I'm all for positivity Spalding, just not when it's being positive about an obvious weakness for us.
-
Don't understand the positivity re: wet weather. Despite our 'chaos' ball style, we are shocking in the wet, and Richmond have always been a good wet weather side. We're more likely to not score a goal than win.

Apparently Dees one of three clubs to not have coaches or players affected, along with Geelong and Hawks.

Rowell is a good get, but so are Ellis and Greenwood. They are benefiting from the recruitment of a couple of big, mature bodies and not losing draftees for a couple of years. Couple that with development of their young blokes and playing at home every week (especially against Freo who are a bottom side). They had a good start to last year as well and then fell off a cliff. Not saying it will happen this year, but they still have to sustain it for another 12 weeks.
-
ACT being floated as well.
-
Salem is a lazy, lazy footballer. Gets the 50, jogs to the mark when we had 2-3 blokes out the back, and then decides to chip it to a 3 on 1. For a good kick, he doesn't take the game on.
-
It probably won't be far off. Hawkins to kick 5 straight, Fritta to kick 1.7.
-
5 changes, Nev dropped.
-
3 And half minutes into the 'all the goals' video, Brayshaw in the 1s with his helmet on
-
I'd assumed he played with the 2s to get a run in the starting midfield. I thought he played in the 1s in the second half but may be wrong.
-
And something we are woeful at, at present. Hopefully once the forward line gel they'll get better at this, but we are just so easy to score against on the rebound at present.
-
Yep. On the AFL website they were saying Geelong may need to drop Taylor to account for our smalls. Make them play to our strengths, not the other way around.
-
Saw Weid give a handball and that was it ?
-
They've rescheduled the other sunday games too. One now starts at 8pm, all to ensure there is a 3pm game
-
We've spent so much in draft picks and dollars fixing our backline that we've now got an issue with our forward line. TMac is not really a natural power forward in the same way Hawkins or Lynch are, and while I Still think Weid can come good, we are very light on for KPFs. Richmond might have won a flag with one, but he was a very good one who regularly kicked big numbers of goals.
-
I thought the recollection was that Brogan did his back getting his boots out of his bag, so Tomlinson had to ruck against cox and Nic Nat all day. My impression was he didn't enjoy it that much

There an interesting table there that shows clearances, groundball gets, effective disposals, score involvement etc. While they are highlighting the difference between Grundy and Gwen, check out who else features prominently. None other than our very own Clarence. 3rd for clearances 4th for effective disposals 1st by a mile for groundball gets 6th for score involvements

Not if we blow a 12 goal lead, there won't.
