  1. 9 years all up, and not playing for Port? Kane Cornes will love this...
  2. Ah yes, another Steven May 'We should have smoked them' moral victory. So much more satisfying than actually winning...
  3. We have too many players who are either unbalanced and easy knocked off the ball, or go to ground by choice.
  4. Apart from the Sidebottom high, all the frees have been there. We're clearly trying to play physical but are being a bit agricultural
  5. Last time we took that view, it didn't work out too well for us. But we definitely didn't tank...
  6. I love Jack Viney, but he definitely shouldn't host a podcast. Chin was OK when he was on Gus and Gawny but not a natural. River would be ok
  7. He definitely didn't spend 30 secs at the top of his run up. He's a rookie who hasn't played much footy so no doubt he'll learn, but he was very slow to get set to kick
  8. It was 34 secs from mark being paid to being told to play on. Just double checked on kayo
  9. That's because they took the third quarter off
  10. Also means no dreamtime at the G
  11. It was, but the last few years only Max and Jack have been announced. There is an unannounced leadership group that I think includes Lever, Sparrow and maybe a few others (previously ANB) https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1720630/gawn-and-viney-lead-again
  12. Sounds a lot like Garry is on the 'Sack Goody' train now
  13. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/umpires-hit-out-at-afl-claiming-scotch-college-facilities-not-up-to-scratch-20250409-p5lqj0.html Still seems our best bet to get serious $ from the AFL
  14. The problem for Trac is he'd be wanting any club he moved to, to be: A big club Melbourne based Winning Able to fit in his contract Able to facilitate a trade That rules out Collingwood and Carlton. Pies don't have the trade capital, Blues don't have the salary cap space. Leaves Hawks (why would they?), Tiges and Essendon (aren't winning).
  15. Yep, he clearly knows he's on thin ice but has reverted to just being selfish trying to get himself put of a hole.
  16. Yep, but my understanding (purely from reading posts about it from people like weber) is that the test they use isn't always conclusive, and if it wasn't, they might let him test it with run throughs. At the end of the day, hopefully he'll be in the clear. But it wouldn't be rhe first time someone has tested it and then the scan has shown an ACL
  17. Generally, if he can move ok afterwards it's more likely to be an ACL. One of the guys who did his earlier in the year came back on the ground and they didn't realise he'd done his ACL until the scan
  18. But 2 of them are VFL players picked in the ssp and at pick 70 odd. And one a lion's discard
  19. Very happy if fritsch wants out. Thanks for the flag
  20. This is what happens when you hire a midfield coach based solely on his ability to get Trac and Oliver to feel good
  21. Langford and Bowey positives. JVR a huge worry
  22. Adam Simpson
  23. Wish the demon army would [censored] that stupid target sign off
  24. What happened to Max viney as grappling coach? Clearly hasn't helped
