Grading the Trade Week
The Age gave us a B+, with only GC and GWS above us

Bailey Humphrey
They haven't. Assuming he was thinking of trading for players, not ither picks
-
Farewell Christian Petracca
Would rather watch GC and GWS. See Clayton and Petracca duke it out. Then we'll see what they really think of one another

I think we can close it considerably sooner next year, when he comes out and publicly nominates Hawthorn
-
Farewell Clayton Oliver
They'll be announced close together because rhe aFL dictate when deals can be announced on the last day to drive up ratings

The 2026 1st is too much. They can keep 7 and we'll keep our F1

Farewell Clayton Oliver

Listening to Morris, it is very obvious that he is getting all of his info from the Suns. The chatter of 7&8 for Trac and 24 is all framed as 'Suns will do it if they get 24 back'. It's only about what is good for the Suns. It seems that Melbourne aren't leaking, which is good because a) leaks to the media suck (our toilet blogging BBQ enthusiast aside) and b) there is still the chance that we play hard ball with Humphrey being the end target- Bailey Humphrey
Given the AFL now likes the trade deadline to happen in person at Marvel with all the cameras rolling, they likely save us from ourselves in this situation. I think they've also said now the agreement just needs to be in place and the AFL notified, with formal lodgements allowed post the deadline at 7.30.- Bailey Humphrey

I dunno, Noah Anderson goes ok.... I'm kidding- Assistant Coaches in 2026
No. King out in 2009, Rivers traded in 2013- Bailey Humphrey
Port. Big time- Farewell Christian Petracca
I'd prefer to keep 23. It'll fetch a kings ransom come draft night. But if its needed to unlock Humphrey, I suppose its ok- Farewell Judd McVee
23 is the first pick of the 2nd rnd. Fully expect us to flip it for a future first on draft night, North paid a stupid amount for a similar draft pick this year- Sam Flanders
Anyone who thinks SOS will just offer pick 7 for Flanders has never seen SOS work. Terrible to deal with, trade wise- Welcome to Demonland: Jack Steele
- Farewell Charlie Spargo
Second would be amazing. Expecting end of second round though, which would be in the 40s with academy picks- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Dan Curtin and a F1. I'd even keep some of Trac's salary on the books for that- Trade Targets
We absolutely dodged a bullet - Bailey Humphrey
