  1. Ridiculous that my Platinum membership allows me to buy a GF tik but I can't even get a qual final tik.
  2. Does anyone know if they post a "sold out" notice?
  3. That's the way I have it. Hawks if we beat GWS and Cats probably
  4. Goin' down to the wire.
  5. Brisbane: In Tom Fullarton (Cat B)
  6. Not sure about X-factor, but Hannan seems to have his eye on mark of the year at some stage of his career.

Harmes made his debut against the Bombers (as an elevated rookie) round 15 2015. Laverde made his debut the same day. He was taken pick #20 in the 2014 draft and was much touted. Harmes has well and truly gone past Laverde.

I suspect Weid was relieved of his ruck duties after being soundly beaten in the half dozen or so contests he competed in. And I'd given him a rap after seeing him v the Suns.
  9. Those DL'ers bemoaning the selection of Milkshake , particularly after he copped the 12 month ban, are eating humble pie.
  10. My mates flew over for the game. $65 for seats with restricted view. They paid $130 for each seat (unrestricted). Heaven know what they'll be charging for a finals seat.
  11. I had to check that I didn't have the NRL on when the Weagles ran out.

I reckon you're a little harsh. Sam has just turned 21 and, as we are repeatedly told, KPP's take longer to find their feet. I went to Brisvegas for our Suns' game and watched Sam closely. He held his own against Witts in the ruck and whilst his stats were low he did have 4 goal assists. Like most DL'ers, I've been less than impressed with Pedo this year.

BTW Casey v Box Hill on the TV on Sat in case it ain't been mentioned.
  14. I reckon these may be the changes assuming Hibbo comes up. Spargo is not quick as other DL'ers have pointed out, nor are his tackles sticking. JKH needs at least one more game.
  15. I agree with the fence. I like Spargo and hope he stays, but he is not quick, and his endurance is 'limited'.
  16. Given Geelong's average differential is less than 16 points, I can't see them winning their last two games by 80 and 110 points respectively, The Cats have won 6 or their 7 matches at K Park by an average .of 30 points.
  17. Sunday 12 August Summary Min 5 Max 14 Possible shower. Possible rainfall: 0 to 1 mm Chance of any rain: 40% Melbourne area Cloudy. Medium (40%) chance of showers in the afternoon and evening. Winds west to northwesterly 25 to 35 km/h.
  18. The Front Bar quite often air clips, unlike TFS, I guess because Ch7 owns them. We may even see the 'scissor kick' (or whatever you choose to call it).
  19. Dawson Simpson the most serious supposedly. Maybe out for season.
  20. I think Hird said that if the Dons make the 8 they'll win the flag. He's merely trying to curry favour with the Dons; dingbats. Essendon need to win all four remaining games given they have a poor percentage. I reckon they'll lose at least two. Hird is on safe ground. He knows his Dons are no chance to play finals.
  21. Agree with all of this. I really think we need to get games into Smith and enable him to build his confidence. He's 5cm taller than Hibberd and has a reasonable leap (unlike Hibbo). If it came to the crunch we may be able to go with Frost, Smith and Hibbo ie drop OMac who struggles when the ball is below his waist.
  22. There's a couple worse than Nibbler.
  23. If you can get past the firewall: https://www.geelongadvertiser.com.au/sport/afl/geelong-cats-2018-geelong-to-ask-afl-for-home-game-should-it-earn-the-rights-to-host-a-final/news-story/f57c015d20ddc2c70954deb6f48420ff Great. We could have round 2 of the brawl. "GEELONG will request a home final at GMHBA Stadium should it finish in fifth or sixth position on the ladder at the end of the home-and-away season..... ......And I think we would (against Melbourne or North Melbourne) as well.”
  24. There are thousands of supporters who, like me, prefer to stand. I've been a platinum member for more than 20 years, as have many of my mates. As such we have access to a seat on level one. Every week we stand. At Etihad we stand on the concourse. I can't watch the footy from a seat. When the Cats get the funding they will complete their stadium with a stand where the present GA exists. There will be no general admittance area (with free seat). You will need to pay (in today's money) $60 to watch the footy. It's highly likely that fewer than 2000 tickets will be available to opposition supporters.
