I was hoping for 8 wins this year too.. However Jones is playing like a man with heavy shoulders, same as Vince.. Our backline looks mentally beaten before it even gets down there.. Having played local footy in bad teams in defence.. It plays on your mind..If we give Carlton a 5 goal headstart.. We won't come back. I just hope Roo's & the rest of the club realise this week v Carlton.. This is our Grand Final.. We must not just win.. We must win well.. Anything less than a 10 goal win (or there abouts) will mean progress has come on from last year (but it's stunted). I know we're missing, Kent, Salem, Frost, Tyson, Pedersen.. But the players coming in need to at least compete with the same effort.. I'm nervous about next week..

Vandenberg & Salem are no brainers.. Toump is no good & Fitz is too unpredictable..If you actually watched Michie on Sunday you would of noted it was probably his best game for the club & the run we got from Matt Jones was crucial in 2nd & 3rd quarters, M Jones kicking was better than Watts on the day and Michie's kick to Brayshaw was perfectly weighted..

Just quietly.. HOW GOOD IS THIS KID? One of the few smalls we have who loves a goal, and knows where they are! He has gone under the radar, and looks to have the edge on JKH.. In my eyes, has abit of the Pulopulos about him.. I think he could be a real livewire for us in the next few years!

Didn't think either Michie or M Jones were bad today.. Unless someone ripped it up in the VFL, I'd be surprised tl see any changes? If dawes kicked even straighter and Garlett could take a chest mark.. Would of really made things interesting kn the 3rd. If Salem has done enough.. Maybe?

There is absoluytely no doubt Jones did.. I calked for it last week that Jones had to lead this team not just with his stats but with more "come on boys whos with me??"

I love the fact that he is a big boy who loves to tackle and run and jump at it! I was at the Geelong game so ANB is first in my books! Hopefully he becomes our Poulopulo & Harmes our Isaac Smith!!
