If half the players turn into the players written next to them we will will a flag in 3 years.

you forgot to mention Dean Bailey. the Rev let to many coast for to long. if the players dont understand what it means to be a team after watching the cats this year, they never will.

If these 3 are on the money make it 2 years

Jack Grimes = Glenn Archer. Now that would be bloody exciting.

Matthew Bate - Matthew Pavlich

Its fine.

If anything Woey seems to have got slower since you first put it on Ash! :D

if only optimism won us games, we would be premiers every year.

at the end of the day, we have some good kids coming through, but so do every other club

I was never a superstitious person before I started posting on here. Now, everytime you say something, the complete opposite happens. Please, for the love of god, stop being so optimistic.

Although you are good for a laugh YM, Please stop making these predictions it only makes us bad

I think you need to reassess there a little, Y_M.

Nathan Jones is obviously Paul Kelly, not Robert Harvey.

And Brock Mclean is no doubt Leigh Matthews for the modern age.

Sir Cale will clearly be the next Wayne Carey... except not an arrogant womanising [censored], one hopes.

I think the list needs some reworking.

Whatever happened to the old 'Bate-ifides', too?

Whats so funny Ash?

Bate is a freak. He has all the tools, and I think Bailey will turn him into a superstar

Bate is already the best player in the AFL at kicking goals outside 50

I did it quickly, its not as easy as it looks

But you are right about Jones/Kelly

Could be some salary cap issues on the horizon.

I keep track of all my predictions

I have a strike rate of about 85%

That is phenomenal, and probbaly unheard of to be honest

Even the so called 'experts' in the media only get it right about 30-40% of the time

Whatever happened to the old 'Bate-ifides', too?

He's definitely a stronger, taller, red-headed Judd.

How bout bartram yze magic?? Surely he should be mentioned in this prestigious group. Who could he be compared with??

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

A few years ago, the Melbourne Football Club produced a documentary about the decade in which it rose from its dystopic purgatory of regular thrashings to the euphoria of a premiership victory. That entire period could have been compressed in a fast motion version of the 2025 season to date as the Demons went from embarrassing basket case to glorious winner in an unexpected victory over the Dockers last Saturday. They transformed in a single week from a team that put in a pedestrian effort of predictably kicking the ball long down the line into attack that made a very ordinary Bombers outfit look like worldbeaters into a slick, fast moving side with urgency and a willingness to handball and create play with shorter kicks and by changing angles to generate an element of chaos that yielded six goals in each of the opening quarters against Freo.
