What a load of crap that Daniher broke Miller.

Never has there been a player given sooo much playing and leadeship opportunity to perform with so little return.

You may as well blame Miller's parents for any genetic deficiencies that undermine his game.

He broke him when he told him to stop playing with the physicallity. Do you not think, Rhino, that our side desperately needs some focussed physicallity? Miller was reckless in his approach, I concede that, but Daniher took all the physicallity out of his game, and he has been going downhill ever since.

Miller was a pauper of a player before that happen. He was also found wanting before Daniher played him up back

Like much of his football judgement Millers physicality was misused and crudely applied resulting in avoidable frees and suspension. He played the man and not the ball.

Now Miller plays neither the man or the ball.

I am at a loss to identify how the absence of the reckless aggression prevents a player from being able to consistently and competitive contest for a ball and to demonstrate that he is AFL standard.

Focussed physicality is a waste if it is not directed to consistently contesting and winning possession of the ball. That is where MFC is lacking.

Any other physical stuff that is way overrated by posters on this site is a waste of time. Hasnt the tribunal rulings of recent emphasised this?

We have Miller for two more years. I hope he shows more than what he has so far.

As do I.

None of us are saying he's the world's best player.

But with Dean Bailey appointed our new coach, I can only feel this well benefit Brad 'The Millman' Miller on & off the field.

All we can do is hope he shows his full potential in 2008. So give him a chance too.

No point talking about his parents giving him genetic deficiencies!

    REDEEMING by Meggs

    It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    Last Saturday’s crushing loss to Fremantle, after being three goals ahead at three quarter time, should be motivation enough to bounce back for this very winnable Round 5 clash at Windy Hill.     BLOW THE SIREN by Meggs

    Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval.     DRUBBING by Meggs

    With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.
